喜欢 A really lovely campsite wonderful toilet and shower blocks and sinks for washing up very clean and tidy actually better water pressure than our shower at home!! the staff were super friendly and helpful. They even came and helped us jumpstart our car on the last day. The listings on pitch up say that you’re not allowed fires and you’re not allowed to park near your tent, but actually we found this to to be untrue during quieter periods. Close to Perranporth well maintained pitches. A shop and reception on site. Very dog and Child friendly.

喜欢 Absolutely loved our stay here for many reasons. You can tell these people know what campers need! -
- level pitches and choose where you like
- Peaceful and surrounded by nature
- brilliant location for Trevaunce Cove and Porthtowan to body board (took us five minutes to be at the beach)
- fantastic showers!! Hot, plenty of hooks and space to put your stuff.
- toilets were spotlessly cleaned and regularly checked. The cleanest 'back to basics' toilets I've ever seen!
- friendly owners who clearly care
- children loved the vast amount of space to play in. Great addition to have the volleyball net!
- loved the borrow me box for beach stuff
- washing line to hang up swim stuff etc
- plenty of hot water for washing up - covered area so didn't matter if raining.
- you could recycle rubbish

*Camp on the side nearest the toilets for the best sunset views!

Ideal site for tents or campervans.
Highly recommend and we would definitely visit again as a family of four. With 7yo and 10yo

喜欢 The campsite was wonderfully laid out, lovely and maintained grounds with plenty of facilities.
The camping area was pancake flat so ideal for our tent.
Great showers and wash area. Some washing lines for wet bathing suits. All in all we will 100% stay again..

喜欢 Not too many other parties on the campsite
Toilet & shower facilities were excellent & clean
Space for the kids to play
'Borrow me' box with body boards & balls was a nice touch - we added to the contents when we left.
Lots to do in the area.
10 min walk to the local pub with great food - worth booking as it was busy.

不喜欢 Despite being rural and off a country road, the road noise was noticeable in the mornings. May have been due to harvesting but lots of tractors and vehicles from early in the morning.

喜欢 Extremely peaceful campsite ideal for couples who want to avoid the busier sites around St Agnes and Perranporth.

Huge grass field. The two toilets and showers whilst basic were immaculately clean.

不喜欢 Due to being on Mithian Downs you do have to drive to go anywhere and no circular walks nearby for our dog

喜欢 The shepherd's hut is very comfortable with everything you would need including a small electric cooler/fridge, plates and pans to use with the hob. It felt very private. The site was well looked after.

不喜欢 The only things I would add would be more tools for cleaning both in the shower block and in the shepherds hut. A mop or broom would be helpful to sweep out the dry grass that inevitable gets in. There was a pan and brush in the hut and cleaning spray in the toilets, but a full size broom or mop would have been ideal to have.

Fabulous bins and recycling.
Lovely flat camping
Owners that really care and have put a lot of thought into making this a very special place to camp.
Nice and quiet out of the way of busy roads.

喜欢 Really useful site. We were the only campervan there. No problem that it was off grid as had good toilets and very lovely hot shower. All clean and well tended. Standpipe with hose near the loos and good washing up facilities. Location is central for Truro, Falmouth area. Pitches are level but grass. No hard standing. Having said this, even after the biblical amount of rain Jan/Feb we had no trouble moving our long wheelbase Sprinter on and off the site- although the turning in from the Chacewater direction is VERY tight and required a bit of manoeuvring. The chap I spoke to was helpful and polite and human (which I like - not a fan of AI chatbots!) I would definitely recommend if you like peaceful, no frills natural sites at all very good price.
