Cornish beaches, busy towns and a scenic fishing village with a great story… You get it all at Mousehole Camping, a peaceful family site in the village of Paul, five minutes’ drive from Mousehole and 15 minutes from Penzance. Mousehole Camping is a prime spot to base yourself for some exploration of Cornwall: in nearby Penzance, you can pick up the South West Coast Path and the St Ives Bay Line, bringing the dog along so the two of you can call into some of the dog-friendly pubs along the route. Make your way into Mousehole and down to the harbour to laze on the beach or do as the locals do and fish… then wander the cobbled streets, nose around galleries and local shops, and eat at the fishy-focused restaurants. Back on site, Mousehole Camping is in the grounds of a local football club, where matches can occur at short notice (the site tries to minimise the disruption but bear this in mind). Guests get free entry to the football matches, where a clubhouse bar is open on match days. The facilities (a couple of minutes' walk from the main camping area) are shared with the football club and include a toilet, showers (within the changing rooms) and an accessible toilet/shower room. On match days, the shower and washing-up area are shut, while the toilets remain open, and during low season, only the accessible toilet/shower room are open (and cleaned on an ad-hoc basis). There's also wifi. Barbecues are allowed: pick up supplies from the supermarkets in Penzance or fresh fish from the port in Newlyn, five minutes away. If you’d prefer a break from cooking, stroll to the village pub for some food and drinks, or try one of the restaurants within 15 minutes of the site. Please note that this site is run by volunteers. From mid-September until Easter, there are no permanent staff on site. As a peaceful site, music should be kept to a minimum and quiet hours begin at 10pm.

喜欢 We really liked the relaxed no-fuss nature of staying at this site. Once we were seen in by the wardens; we were left alone.
Its a great location for Mousehole; 20 mins down either a footpath or the (quiet) road.
There is a bit of a walk to use the facilities in the football club-house; but its not too bad at all.
It ticked all the boxes for us for a few days winter get-away.

不喜欢 The location instructions on the website take you to the OLD entrance; which is a fair challenge and heavily pot-holed. There is a new tarmac drive which is much better. The What 3 Words for the new entrance is ///available.managed.rejoin

喜欢 slight problem with the booking from the Pitch Up website, meaning that we booked a pitch that wasn't available, but Darren & Lynda sorted it out straight away, and we had a very enjoyable stay

喜欢 Lovely little gem of a campsite decent facilities friendly owners and in a wonderful location.
Only a 20 minute walk to the picturesque village of Mousehole and if the 20 minute walk is a bit much there is a good pub halfway

来自经理: Sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us , we noticed you came in and did not see you after that , WiFi was available from your email and also you could of popped to the campsite office to get it , the shower is cleaned twice a day and yes it is basic but clean.

Not great in the winter months ...maybe fine in the summer

喜欢 The pitch was love and flat. The chap that looked after the place was very helpful and explained where everything was in the town etc. Wifi was a good connection which was good as there wasn't a great phone signal.

不喜欢 The accessible toilet was to be used for showering but was located over the other side of the football pitch...it was a very cold walk back. Also the shower was not only freezing cold with no heating, and water that wasn't very hot at all, it was dirty all around the bottom of the shower.

喜欢 Lovely campsite. Great location, signage good too.

不喜欢 The access road. It's the worst one I've ever used and I use a lot!!! I know tarmac is expensive but it needs doing...part of my van underside fell off on the way home which whilst I'm sure the road isn't the cause, it can't have helped!!!!!

喜欢 It was easy book on app. I didn’t actually stay in the end because I couldn’t get any phone signal. The weather was really bad so just wanted to relax and watch a film.

喜欢 Wir hatten zwei schöne Tage auf diesem Stellplatz und haben uns wohlgefühlt.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen.
Die sanitären Anlagen sind ok. Der Weg um den Sportplatz ist machbar und hat uns nicht gestört.
Ideal um Mousehole zu besuchen.
Sind auch zu Fuß am Meer nach Newlyn und Penzance gelaufen.

不喜欢 WLAN hatten wir am Stellplatz keinen, bzw. konnten uns dort nicht einloggen. War für uns aber ok.

Please note that the access road from Newlyn is narrow. To access the site, you will need to go over a small ramp, so this site is not recommended for motorhomes over seven metres. When arriving from Penzance, do not use the road via Mousehole village, as it is narrow and unsuitable for larger vehicles. Instead, take the B3315 (Chywoone Hill) from Newlyn, which is signposted Paul and Land’s End.

Fans of BBC costume drama Poldark will find plenty to keep them occupied around here, with many names and places to recognise: Godolphin House, the mines at Botallack and Levant, and Porthcurno beach (Nampara Cove) are all within half an hour of Mousehole Camping and all worth a visit. Of course, if your passions lie less in TV drama and more in the arts, you won’t be let down – catching a show at the Minack Theatre, an open-air theatre carved into the cliffs above Porthcurno, is an absolute must. You can’t very well make a trip to this part of Cornwall and not visit the most westerly point of mainland England… Land’s End is a 25-minute drive from Mousehole Camping. Be sure to get a photo with the famed sign, and stop for a Cornish cream tea before you leave. Anyone drawn to the ocean will have plenty to do too: the top-notch surfing beach at Sennen is 20 minutes away, boat trips out to the Scilly Isles leave Penzance regularly, and the stunning St Michael’s Mount is a short walk along a causeway or an even shorter boat journey from the coast.
