‘We’re all going on a summer holiday…’ And a spring, autumn and, er, winter one too… At Tencreek Holiday Park, the nearest park to lovely Looe in Cornwall, you and the family can arrive in all seasons as a base for the best of south-east Cornwall and Devon, or just stay on site to spoil yourselves silly with the lashings of facilities and entertainment for all ages. And the views are pretty tenfastic too… Tencreek is aimed at families and couples, and as such has any number of tiptop things to try: a kids’ club just for starters, and an adventure playground and sports pitch for small sorts to whirl around outside. More grownuply, the park also has the Castaway entertainment complex with large cabaret room, bar, Deano’s Diner and indoor sports room with darts and pool; there's also family entertainment every night from the Yellow Coats and Tencreek mascots. Don’t forget the dog either: the park is dog friendly and has a dog walking area with access to the public footpath. If it rains, the kids won’t even notice once you get them to the heated indoor pool and toddlers’ pool, which are also open all year and free to use (there are classes such as Aquafit and kids’ swimming lessons available at a small additional charge). The thoughtful folk at Tencreek have ensured that the pool is always lifeguarded, and there are even adults-only sessions at times, if you can manage to get the kids dried off and packed off for a bit… The park also has a fully-stocked food shop, a café with takeaway and a modern laundry.

喜欢: Very clean site , ideal for a walk to Looe , wouldnt suggest the walk back but taxis and bus are frequent, nice little shop with every you could possibly need , atmospheric club house cant beat a good old game of bingo and a general knowledge quiz , only one gripe no hot water in the dish washing part of toilet block but toilets and showers were spotless all in all a nice camp site not sure what it would be like with kids running all over the place it was.mostly adults when we were there , see.you soon

喜欢: staff where great, on site facilities where good.

不喜欢: Indoor pool you had to book a slot, weekends could understand but in september when there where no kids thought that was a bit off. The pitches where a bit sloped felt they where a bit on the small side.

喜欢: Excellent location, nice walks into looe and Polperro, lovely views from site dependent on pitch allocation, staff very helpful, venue opening hours a little disappointing but that maybe because we visited out of season, lovely clean facilities, well stocked shop, says pet friendly but maybe not as friendly as we are used to (nowhere to sit in adverse weather for a beer with your pet) but overall a great place to visit

喜欢: Very flat pitches. Easy access to the site. Friendly staff

不喜欢: Add signs to beginning of the turns eg pitches 50-60. Why cant there be a small area inside the clubhouse for dogs. Didn’t use it all! Real shame as it looked great!

喜欢: A brilliant site , perfect for a visit to Looe, facilities were top notch. We had discovered a small leak on the roof where the solar panel cable went thro and on arrival I asked if they had a step ladder so I could investigate, within a 1/2 hour a warden appeared with a ladder and the problem was solved . Laundry facilities spot on . I would certainly recommend this site …

喜欢: We had a very nice stay the site was lovely and the staff were great. Free WiFi in the clubhouse a good shop and lovely free indoor pool. Clean toilets and showers and nice warm water.

不喜欢: the only grumble was the sloping pitch which we weren’t advised about. Luckily we had chucks which helped otherwise it would have been an uncomfortable night! If it was cheap we probably wouldn’t have minded but it was over £50 for 1 night.

喜欢: The site was very clean and well maintained. The toilet/shower blocks were plentiful and very clean. Entertainment was good for all ages including bingo every night and all reasonably priced. Well stocked shop on site.

不喜欢: Sites were all close together mixed with tents and caravans.

喜欢: Facilities, location, walks. Cleanliness, staff, great shower and toilet block with intergrated wash up Facilities. Surrounded by lovely walks inc the coastal footpath. I had a very pleasant stroll to and from Looe approx 30 minutes. Ea. Way. The site is geared for family's.. however the is 'the meadow' which is a large field well kept for no serviced pitches. If camping then a little Ltd if you require a level pitch... but I'm being picky... as you also have all the holiday park facilities at grass root prices. Excellent.

喜欢: Speedy check-in and check out, nice large pitches. Our pitch was very close to the facilities, the toilets and showers were very clean. We arrived later in the day but still managed to get a spot for the swimming pool due to a very helpful member of staff from the swimming pool area. We only ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was very good, entertainment was also good.

Oodles of activities and attractions await once you’ve dragged yourself off site: pootle around Looe’s Harbour Quay, Banjo Pier and the 16th-century Old Guildhall in East Looe, or take a boat to Looe (St George’s) Island, where just once a year on a very low tide it’s possible to stroll to it across the sand. Sea-based sightseers can go from Looe to Fowey and take the ferry to Polruan or Bodinnick and the former house of Daphne du Maurier (Daphne and Rebecca fans can also go ghost hunting at Cornwall’s legendary coaching house at Bodmin Moor, said to be the county’s most famous smuggling inn). Most day trippers take a car for the 12-mile Looe-Fowey journey, but if you’re feeling energetic enough and want to see some stunning coastal scenery, the local South West Coast Path hike goes from West Looe to Polruan via Hannafore, Talland Bay and Polperro. You officially have full permission to get a bus or taxi back…
