Resident llamas, visiting wildlife, campfire cooking and cosy glamping accommodation – if that sounds like just the right magic combo for your hols, plan for a stay at Enchanted Valley Yurts, in a gorgeous little corner of Cornwall 15 minutes’ drive from Polperro. Settle in here and your neighbours around the farm will include resident woolly llamas, horses, donkeys and chickens, along with the wild creatures and birds that roam and flit by on a regular basis. And you can see why they’d pick this place to hang around, as there’s a whole swathe of open space for them to scuttle about in... That space is widely appreciated by guests too, as it means lots of scope for kids to run about and for friends and family to gather for alfresco meals. Those meals can be cooked over coals at the barbecue area, flame grilled at the campfire area or baked at the outdoor pizza oven; if it’s not quite the weather for such activities, retreat to the shared kitchen, which has been kitted out with lots of handy bits including an oven, gas hob and microwave (plus a fridge and freezer to stash all your supplies in).

喜欢 Perfect for relaxing, camp fire fun such a peaceful location. Saw some wild deer and bunnies, bats, the yurk it self was so warm and cosy . I've been her now on my 4th visit . I would come back time and time again. Perfect for forgetting work .thankyou for having us.

喜欢 This is such a fabulous place! Absolutely beautiful. Called Enchanted Valley for a reason.

If you want peace and tranquility to completely unwind, this is the place to come! There is no phone/WiFi reception!

Along with the Llamas, donkeys and chickens you see on the site, you will probably catch the sight of the local wildlife, deer, foxes, bunnies and birds.

Amanda has thought of absolutly everything for your needs, whether you are visiting solo or family. Everything is catered for, even for children, even a potty is provided in the bathroom!

The kitchen is full of everything you need. They is also a pizza oven and bbq outside with a log fireplace to sit around (wood is provided). Outside your yurt is a chimnea along with log burner inside for the chiller evenings.

I visited with a friend for a weekend and we both wished we stayed longer.

Literally all you need is your clothes, personal wash kit inc. towels, food and a good book!

We can totally recommend this place 100%

To the Cornish coast for starters, surely… the pretty fishing villages of Looe and Polperro are 10 and 15 minutes away by car respectively, and both well worth a wander. Boat trips to Looe Island come highly recommended, as do days on the village’s sandy beach. If you want a little cove all to yourselves, set out for a stroll on the South West Coast Path and see if you can find some of the small coves hidden along the way. For a bit of activity at the coast, there’s canoeing and paddleboarding in Looe, or kayak trips along the river from Fowey (half an hour). Polkerris (half an hour) is a popular spot for windsurfing, with a splendid pub on the beach for toasting your success at standing up on water. Other days out nearby might include trips to the National Trust estate at Lanhydrock (20 minutes) the Eden Project (25 minutes) or the Lost Gardens of Heligan (45 minutes). Or, if you’ve got animal-mad nippers in tow, Porfell Wildlife Park (five minutes) or Wild Futures monkey sanctuary (20 minutes).
