Take your pick in Cornwall – from stunning and award-winning beaches, scenic wildlife havens, first-rate coastal hikes, historic houses and green gardens, art galleries, theatres and days out galore for the kids... it's all within easy day trip distance. Firstly, Ekopod is a short drive away from north coast beaches such as Crackington Haven (20 minutes' drive), Widemouth Bay (25 minutes) and Bude's beaches and sea pool (half an hour). For more coastal scenery, make your way to fishing villages such as Boscastle (20 minutes) and Port Isaac (35 minutes), made famous by Doc Martin and Fisherman's Friends. Tintagel Castle (25 minutes), the legendary King Arthur's birthplace, makes an excellent day trip along with the nearby St Nectan's Waterfall (25 minutes). If you fancy yourself as a bit of a foodie, you will surely find some stunning things to sink your teeth into in Padstow (55 minutes). The area surrounding the site also has surf schools, sailing centres, golf courses, horse riding and multi-activity centres within 10 miles.
