添加您的业务详细信息How about a Mongolian yurt with views of the splendid Cornish countryside as your new temporary abode? These yurts, 10 minutes’ drive from Helston near the Lizard Peninsula, are as ‘green’ as their paint suggests; the eco-friendly tents have solar lanterns, solar fairy lights, tea light lanterns and a woodburning stove.
Dark skies around here mean the moon and stars are often bright overhead – watch through the transparent central roof panel from your kingsize bed. Each yurt is alone in its own field, with a large picnic table and camping-type chairs for seating and a clean, odourless composting toilet next door.
This is glamping without electricity – evenings are all about gathering around your private stone firepit for drinks and chats. Keen cook? Each yurt has a dedicated outdoor kitchen with optional doors. The kitchen has a two-ring gas cooker, a barbecue with coals for the first evening, cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and initial supplies of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and milk. Handy extras include tea towels, washing-up equipment, salt, pepper and cooking oil.
A drinking water tap is just outside the yurt, and there’s a 20-litre container to fill in the kitchen, along with an insulated cooler box with ice blocks (freshly replaced everyday if you wish) to keep food fresh.
Each yurt sleeps up to four, with a double futon as well as the kingsize bed, and an extra mattress is stored under the bed. The first basket of wood and kindling for the woodburner is provided, with more available to purchase. Bed linen, extra blankets and a hot water bottle are also provided (just bring your towels and a torch or two).
Basic but clean shared hot shower facilities are in a nearby building. The main house has a washing-up area, freezer and secure phone charging box.

First things first, food? A gorgeous tea room is 40 minutes’ walk away for your cakes and teas and Helston (10 minutes’ drive) has much more of that sort of thing.
For active pursuits, however, head south; the harbour town of Porthleven (15 minutes) is a watersports hub and has some excellent restaurants for replenishing your energy after a day exploring the Lizard’s many beaches.
Historic days out can be had at St Michael's Mount (half an hour) or the Poldark Mine & The Cornish National Heritage Collection (15 minutes’ walk).
Further afield, soak up all that gorgeous scenery from the hikes over Land's End (55 minutes’ drive) and the sands at Porthcurno beach (55 minutes). The Minack Theatre (55 minutes), an open-air clifftop theatre, is another spot that’s treated to stunning views.
