喜欢 Lovely camp site, shop has a wide variety of items! Liked the idea of the pizza place next door ( we didn’t order but it was great to know if we wanted one ) staff were all very friendly, toliet blocks were always very well clean.
Free WiFi also, although was hit and miss with it but then having over 60 pitches I wouldn’t expect any thing else!
Beach just a short walk (10/15mins) away!
Would definitely recommend. We will be back!

喜欢 Excellent stay again. Always clean and tidy. Toilets, showers spotless. No noise. Excellent value for money.

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike. Only one recommendation could do with a chip shop.

喜欢 Plenty of space on the pitch, really lovely sea view!
The receptionist was lovely, remembered us throughout our whole stay and was extremely helpful.
Easy to find and no complications.
The facilities were clean and easy to reach from our pitch, no waiting for showers at all.

喜欢 Pizza shop onsite, nice toilets and showers

不喜欢 Slopey pitches (it is on the description but we couldn’t even it out with our ramps for the van so worth noting).
Quite expensive to say there’s not a lot near by, spent a lot on food, showers, electricity and laundry as it all adds up having to pay.
Noisy at night too even after the 10pm cut off.

Visiting Cornwall is no Benidorm very much the opposite. It really depends on what you want to do if you want beaches then this is the place there is much to do but it depends on what you want to do.

At Chycarne we have a number of different camping areas to suit all needs Over 50% of all the available pitches are on level ground and the remaining are on a gentle slope.
Now this generally is not an issue for most but we are always happy to offer assistance to help level any unit with exception to tents which is an impossible task at the best.

Now its common knowledge that costs have increased to business and continue to rise
Electricity has seen a huge increase and this would also apply to the laundry but these are optional.
The small charge for showers is reflected in our tariff. Showers are not free here nor are they free at home. There are a lot of costs that have to be met just to have a shower equally we are required to clean the waste water that as been used before it can be discharged safely and this is super expensive. unfortunately Chycarne does not benefit from a mains sewer

Unfortunately there are times when despite all your rules they some how do not always apply to certain individuals They are your noisy brigade. Wardens will always ask any noisy persons to consider other guests and wardens will always do there best but I am afraid this situation is NOT unique to us, it happens just about every where and every campsite to best of my knowledge

Sorry to hear that you spent to much on food but that really is out of our control

喜欢 Beautiful views, well kept and clean, very accessible. Very friendly owners, we arrived in extreme winds and were struggling to put tent up.the owners/managers put us in a caravan for night, and when we asked if there's a possibility to upgrade to caravan instead they managed to keep us in the same caravan. Very helpful and kind.

喜欢 Nette camping. Vriendelijke medewerkers. Iedereen is erg op zichzelf. En dat is prima.
Kinderen waren blij met de goede wifi.
Mooi uitzicht. Fijn dat de bus daar stopt. Zo konden we naar Lizard. En terug via de kust lopen. Aanrader!
Blij dat ik met boeken om een rechte plek heb gevraagd.

喜欢 Beautiful location short walk to the beach not space for the children to run around and explore

不喜欢 Facilities were not very clean either the toilets and shower because were dirty and not cleaned as they should be. The shop was very basic and staff most unhelpful the food available on site is a pizza shop that do milkshakes. The pizzas were not very good at all had better out of the freezer and the milkshake were very, very poor quality for the price the chocolate one was literally taste like a bit of Next powder and milk rubbish

Chycarne is set within an area of outstanding natural beauty and Kennack sands beach is a short walk is a delight but unfortunately is there was not enough space on the beach then this really is out of our control.

I am totally surprised at your comments regarding unhelpful staff as this is contrary to most that visit and find our staff pleasant, friendly and very helpful maybe you had a request that they were unable to facilitate

At Chycarne there are three toilet and shower blocks available all cleaned a minimum of three times a day again highly unusual that we have any negative comments on there cleanliness but I guess scoring us a 10 out 10 for cleanliness is a true evaluation on the facilities as you found them

The Shop reception sells a range of everyday basic items but its no supermarket

Our on site takeaway pizzeria serves to order fresh stone baked pizza's but maybe its your preference and prefer frozen pizza's but most that partake in having one of our pizza's certainly enjoy them as for the milkshakes we can not do better than making them with real Cornish chocolate ice cream and local Cornish milk from the nearby farm maybe they were just too good for the pallet for some

喜欢 Great stay, really accommodating, changed our pitch so could be camped with friends.

不喜欢 Washing machines only had one setting which meant clothes came out soaking wet then the tumble dryers were super expensive for how long ya need to get clothes dry.

喜欢 3rd time we have stayed here, the campsite is clean and well maintained. Peaceful good amenities and close to lots of lovely beaches.
Small shop with some essentials and the team of staff are all very lovely and at hand to help if needed.
