Yurts
They are simply gorgeous and once inside, feel solid, sumptuous and welcoming. Each yurt has a handmade oak double bed, a unique hand-painted table with two chairs, natural coir flooring with a large rug and sheepskins. Beautiful drapes in either red, green or white. An antique wood-burning stove with an evening’s supply of wood. A hamper to make tea & coffee. Create your mood with our changeable LED lighting then lie back and relax to your music through the stereo. Each yurt has its own barbecue and a picnic table.
Please Note! We can add two floor mattresses for children up to 14 years with bedding. We can supply a travel cot for infants free of charge, but please note we do not provide bedding with the cot.
If you are a family with 3 children, please contact us prior to making a booking so we can determine how best to accommodate you all in the space. We will apply a supplementary charge for the 3rd child.
Guest Information
Showers/ Toilets
We have a 5 star luxury heated shower and toilet block. With massage showers to rival most hotels! There are 5 flushing toilets & 2 composting toilets on the campsite.
Hot Tub
Guests are welcome to enjoy our 8-12 seater wood-fired hot tub. The hot tub is a communal area and therefore guests are asked to shower before getting in. Smoking and drinking are not permitted inside the hot tub and children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Guests are advised to refer to Our Terms and read through the safety information before using the hot tub. If you decide to use the hot tub, you do so at your own risk and the owners cannot accept responsibility for health problems that result from its use.
Water
Water butts are provided with each tent. There are 3 drinking water points on the campsite.
Food
Please do not operate camping stoves inside the tents. We have provisioned a workbench outside each tent for preparing food, etc.
Kitchen & Catering
We have a communal kitchen tent with washing up area on the campsite and also have catering facilities onsite. We can also offer catering for large groups, for our menus please email us.
BREAKFAST HAMPERS
This is a hamper produced by head chef Sam Mahoney who was trained by the Roux Brothers – (Three Star Michelin Restaurant) and his team at Field & Fork!
Your breakfast hamper will be delivered to your tent in the morning giving you the freedom to take breakfast at your own pace. Get up, light the stove or bbq and cook a “full English”, snuggle up around the wood burner with the continental hamper enjoying bakery fresh pastries, cured meats, regional cheeses and fresh fruit salads and let the children unpack their own hampers of savoury filled croissants, sweet brioche and fresh fruit salad.
The choice as relaxed as the environment.
As with all Field and Forks catering services our hampers are prepared by our chefs from the finest ingredients on our premises. Your hamper will be conveniently packaged in disposable containers with cutlery and napkins.
Fires
The campsite has a large central fire pit, with benches all around, so you can enjoy an outdoor fire safely. We do not permit other fires around the campsite.
BBQs
You are welcome to bring your own BBQ so long as they do not burn the ground (i.e. disposable BBQ). BBQs must be placed at least 15 feet away from the tents. Please consider other guests when choosing where to place your BBQ. Alternatively, you may prefer to hire one of our large BBQs. We have a gas barbecue and a charcoal barbecue. We supply the gas but you will need to bring your own charcoal. We charge £20 for the hire of our BBQs to cover the time spent cleaning them after use.
Transport
We can assist with transport to and from the local train station and nearby Goodwood Estate. Please contact us to arrange this.
Parking
You will be able to park your car off road at the entrance to the campsite. Parking is situated 200 yards from the tents. Our team are on hand to help you move your luggage to your tents, please just ask.
Security
Our campsite is away from main roads, out of sight of passers-by. One of our team is always on site. We can provide padlocks to lock your tents while you are out. The entrance is locked at night so if you plan on arriving after dark, please call ahead to arrange access.
Dogs
We welcome dogs. Dogs must be properly supervised at all times, must not be dangerous and must not cause a nuisance or threat to anyone. No dog should be left unsupervised on the campsite. We expect all owners to be responsible and clean up after their dog. As there is livestock on the Farm and therefore you may be asked to keep your dog on a lead.
