喜欢 The set up for camper van was really good, we had a lake view, but was really a "canvas tent view" as we was behind the wellness center and didn't see it much water.

The facilities for the camper area was really good toilets and shower was spotless, only 5 pitches taken up so wasnt busy.

The stone pitches where really well maintained, they have a log burner but the logs in the shop where £15!
Each plot has a picnic table which was really handy.

Felt really safe as the site has security.

A tesco is a 2 min drive in case you forget milk!

不喜欢 This isn't really a compliment regarding my booking, but the activities at the center where so expensive, the.beach area for a family of 4 would cost £75, this is literally for a lounger, don't get me wrong it looked really good, but way to expensive.
The pedalo was £40 for an hour which is expensive.

Please don't let that put you off, if your only camping then the site is fantastic.

不喜欢 I booked a pitch and was happy with it when I arrived. I had my 2 young grandchildren with me, who were super excited to be on their first camping trip. When we went to book in at reception we were told that the beach was fully booked, the only option for us was to book a pedalo for an hour at 4.30.
Now I know that everything has to be booked in advance, even a place on the beach, at an extra cost. Madness! If you're booking a pitch with 2 small children, surely on booking, it should clearly state that you need to book a slot for the beach and every other activity. It was absolutely rammed and not my idea of a pleasant stay. Maybe a slot should be allocated to those paying for a pitch? I definitely will not be returning! This country's greed sucks the fun out of everything 😒 We ended up leaving and trundling down to the coast. Found a fabulous camp site and had a great weekend after all.

Just a quick note—our pitch hire doesn’t include access to the activities, as those need to be booked separately. Most importantly though, we’re so glad you had a great weekend with your family, that's what matters most!

喜欢 Pitch was perfect looking out over lake, staff and all round site was run extremely well. Toilets and shower block clean and tidy couldn't fault any of it.

喜欢 Really good location loads to do good facilities friendly staff and just overall good vibe. Onsite food was great. Will definitely be returning in the summer months this year

喜欢 Loads of exciting activities to do with a range of prices. Quiet, safe, friendly, professional.

不喜欢 The shower! It was either scalding hot or freezing cold, no in-between. And the water pressure was pretty poor.

喜欢 Great location for the lake which was absolutely stunning, crystal clear water and lovely to paddle board on. Fairly compact site and pitches but the pictures show that. Great to have a bench on each pitch. We will definitely be back again.

不喜欢 Shower wasn’t very good and noisy music playing neighbours till late despite the rules clearly saying “ This is a quiet site: no music is allowed.”

喜欢 Small site next to lake.
Very quiet and peaceful at night.
Check in simple and girl lovely and friendly.

不喜欢 Sewage lorry pumping out toilet at 9 am on Monday morning right Infront of pitch.

Security staff were so miserable!

Kitchen is shared with staff from lake and was dirty and full of dirty dishes. I had to clear the sink then wipe down the work top to be able to wash our dishes.
