Knoxbridge Glamping and Camping is set in a flat field behind a pub in Kent countryside, so you won’t need to look very far for a relaxing drink. Groups of friends, families and dogs are all welcome at this rural spot near the pretty village of Frittenden (five minutes’ drive), where you can pick up bits and pieces from the local store. You can barbecue at the site, but the Knoxbridge pub is open all day, with enticing picnic tables outside for sunny weather. If you can drag yourselves away from the pub, you’ll discover woodland walks in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (10 minutes), family cycling along disused railway lines and technical off-road riding for the experts. You can let the kids run off energy on treetop rope courses and zip wires at Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest (20 minutes), and play a round at a couple of golf courses within 15 minutes. And for any rainy days, there’s an indoor pool at Maidstone Leisure Centre (25 minutes).

喜欢: Tracey and her husband were very friendly, the site was a good size and not busy. There were tree swings which my boys loved as well as some big toys near the water tap for them to play with which made washing up much easier. Enjoyed our stay would visit again.

不喜欢: Would stay longer if there were showers.

喜欢: Quiet, relaxed, bench and fire pit provided, Mark was friendly and very accommodating.

喜欢: The site was excellent, really scenic and lovely secluded pitches for privacy but close enough to others if you wanted to socialise with others. The hosts were incredible, very friendly and nothing was a problem. They set up games for the children which was a bonus. We will definitely be returning.
