喜欢 Der Campingplatz ist sehr weitläufig und groß. Es gibt mehrere Plätze mit Strom und Wasser sowie sehr viele auf freier Wiese.
Allgemein ist es nicht weit zum Bahnhof Beltring (15 Minuten zu Fuß) oder man nimmt den Bus vom Eingang in Richtung Bahnhof Paddock Wood, so dass man innerhalb einer Stunde London erreicht.
Preislich gesehen gibt es in Europa bessere Campingplätze mit mehr Angebot, wobei positiv ist, dass Frischwasser und Strom inklusive ist.
Für Kinder gibt es direkt auf dem Platz nur eine Reifenschaukel. Weiter vorn wahrscheinlich einen kleinen "Freizeitpark", den wir jedoch nicht genutzt haben und gar nicht bemerkt haben, ob dieser überhaupt geöffnet ist (Samstag war alles zu).

不喜欢 Eine Abwasserentsorgung gibt es leider nicht, eine WC-Entsorgung ist vorhanden. Die Duschen und Toiletten sind ok, wenngleich nicht allzu sauber (Spinnen, kleine Tierchen, Dreck). Es fehlt leider auf so einem großen Platz eine Waschmaschine.

喜欢 Great big space, nice toilets and showers, very quiet, beautiful surroundings, nice walks, good pub nearby.

We even saw Glow Worms

不喜欢 Nothing
Phone signal is a little up and down depending on what carrier your with, but obviously not the campsites fault

喜欢 Had a whole field to myself. Saw a stoat.

不喜欢 Frequent low flying aircraft on approach to Gatwick. Liable to mosquitos, with the river nearby and ditches.

喜欢 The whole place is very nice and tidy, however over the years the shower standards have gone down but besides this it’s a very nice place to stay at.

喜欢 Loved the proximity to the river and ability to bring your own fishing equipment / inflatables, kayaks etc. We also really enjoyed how large the campsite was meaning we didn’t see many people down in the field we were in

不喜欢 Nothing major - when we did use the toilet block on our departure date it wasn’t very clean but this was a Sunday morning around 12 which I assume is when it gets a full clean for the next guests - showers were hot and powerful

As departure time is at 11am we leave it a bit longer for the cleaner to come in as guests are still using them and it is easier to clean when less people around.

喜欢 There was so much space and you could pitch anywhere. Toilets and shower blocks were clean. Take away delivered to the barrier although we didn't use it. Lovely walk along the river.
Just over an hour from Dover so handy for train and ferry.

喜欢 •The local pub was lovely, friendly staff and lovely food.

不喜欢 •The mass brawling in front of women and children.
•The police turning up at midnight.
•The noise until 2am.
•Speeding cars like it was some kind of action film.

来自经理: I am sorry your one night stay was ruined by an altercation, which has left you with no desire to return.
We were informed just before 10pm that the police had been called out. On our way to the incident I called the police to give directions and how to enter the campsite,(fortunately they arrived within 15 minutes), I also called for an ambulance which arrived within 10 minutes. With the emergency services on site we continued with our rounds making sure there was no music playing and that campers were being respectful to other guests.
The police left at about 1135pm followed by the ambulance 5 minutes later, we then did a final check and at midnight could not hear any music playing or loud noise just campers enjoying being outside, however some laughter can be quite loud.
I approached a few drivers not adhering to the 5MPH speed limit and we now have more signs to be put out, with the hand outs given when checking-in hopefully this will be suffice for everyone's enjoyment of the campsite.

喜欢 Excellent welcome and hosts informative of site and local area.
Onsite pub very good and brewers fayre good as well

不喜欢 Despite a 10 pm noise curfew several groups playing music until 1am and very loud and no one to remind the individuals that there is a curfew
Whole point f a curfew is there is one and while you dont want to spoil peoples fun the point of a break is to be able to enjoy the peace
toilet shower block clean but a bit smelly

It is a shame that some guests spoil the stay of others by not adhering to the campsite rules especially as they are given a handout of the rules when checking in and then asked at 10pm when we do our rounds to turn music off and keep noise to a minimum.
The toilets may be smelly at times as there are no automatic air fresh sprays to eliminate bad odours.
Hopefully your next visit will be more pleasant.
