Kings Oak Farm

喜欢 As soon as we arrived we were met with a warm welcome by Gary who showed us to our pitch and where the amenities were. The field was well managed, the views were lovely and even had friendly cows that we could pet.
The weather was sunny, it was wonderfully quiet and there were only a few other families who we shared a large area with so we really felt the luxury of having space.
Norman and his wife Ruth came to see us to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves and to share what life is like for them.
It’s a working farm so this needs to be taken into consideration, just to be aware that there are limits on access as it’s not a playground.
The facilities were clean, in good working order and no waiting for showers or washing up etc.
All together we had a very relaxed and peaceful weekend which was a real tonic for our family. Thank you

来自经理: If you read my reply to various reviews, i expect nothing less than 10 out of 10.
Naturally I was disappointed to get 8 out of 10.
You must realise this has an effect on our overall ratings.
I am especially annoyed as you were a retired couple who's motorhome had broken down and you called the AA.
It was 4pm and they weren't due to arrive till gone 9pm.
I took a look and found out it was a problem with the immobiliser. We got your van running allowing you to continue your stay.
You mentioned you had limited provisions. I went back to Roundoak and got you milk, bread, some burgers etc.
It would have been better for you to not have made a review.
I really went out of my way to help you!!!!!
How cowardly to sign the review anonymous I found it offensive. I know exactly who you were, parked on the left of the entrance to the camping field.
I would rather you did not come back

喜欢 Lovely, quiet farm. The pitches were a great size. The toilet and shower block were really clean. It felt very secure having a coded gate to get in and out.

不喜欢 Nothing. I wish we’d stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back.

喜欢 Very peaceful farm. Woke up with the Highland cows and chickens each morning which was lovely. Brand new clean showers and toilets. Very helpful family that lived on the farm to solve any questions you have. Love the fact that all their animals are rare breeds and the conservation project they have going on. Would definitely stay here again.

不喜欢 Be aware that some of the lanes leading to the site are quite narrow but not a major issue.

喜欢 Friendly welcome and banter, nice and quiet with peaceful views of the cows. Lots of space and clean facilities.

喜欢 Loved every minute of our stay. the weather was windy and it poured one day .
but that didn't spoil anything .
we loved being able to watch the cows and sheep .
we visited several places while we were there, although I was born and bought up in East Sutton I had not visited chatham dockyard since I was a kid we also went to Kent life. and to various other places

喜欢 Lovely site , big pitches we was meet by Guy , easy, friendly check in, looking to come back soon very peaceful and chilled. Shower and toilets all good , one shower but did not find that a problem at all.

喜欢 Wow, what a little gem of a find. We arrived Sunday 18/05/25 was greeted by Guy who was just excellent, funny,friendly & extremely helpful.
The views of the country side & the peace & quiet is just what to expect from this farm. Our pitch was overlooking the cows and in the distance were sheep & the highland cows.
On going works converting a barn into showers/ toilets/kitchen which I can only imagine it will be stunning when completed.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we are returning to it's sister site Round Oak on July.
Again a big shout out to Guy, keep up your good work.

喜欢 Peaceful site surrounded by countryside. Site manager Guy very friendly and funny. Lovely to see the cows with their calves who were also very friendly!! Pitches large and fairly flat. Will be back!!

喜欢 We had such a great weekend staying at King's Oak. Perfect, quiet countryside pitch near to the cows. We visited the sister farm and the bar area is lovely, we even got up close to some orphan lambs, calves and more cows. The meat from their shop was delicious in the BBQ. Would definitely stay again. Thanks to Guy and Martin for being so helpful and giving us some giggles!
