喜欢: Great site with a good choice area to pitch. Well organized with trolly's for ease to unload at the car park. Beautifully kept and exceptionally clean on site, the toilets, showers and all facilities were tip top. Easy journey via Crab and Winkle path to Whitstable led to a terrific fish lunch at the harbour. Fire pit worked well and we reserved logs at the site, in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable visit and will definitely be back.

喜欢: Well kept site, clean and nice hot shower with a view 😁. Parking was close by, Alex was friendly and helpful. The field was mowed except for some wild flower area. The birdsong is amazing you wouldn't know you were a couple of miles from Canterbury and Whitstable. Nice touches with the badminton net and viewing platform. Very peaceful. Thanks ..will be back. (to stay in a shepards hut next time!)

喜欢: Very quiet and quaint and grounds were well maintained. Toilets were clean and well stocked and the luggage trolleys provided on site is a thoughtful and good idea

不喜欢: Couldn’t find the shower block and lack of reception threw us off a bit but not a serious issue

喜欢: Loved the extras - badminton nets, tree house, cabin etc. Really close and really lovely little small, friendly site. Would love to stay again.

不喜欢: Nothing - there had been very heavy rain so ground was boggy but that's nature for you! All good

喜欢: Peaceful field, really clean toilets, nice showers, stargazing deck was lovely. All very natural. Really like that no cars are in the field.

不喜欢: The field was really really boggy. Felt slightly cramped. There aren't any bins on site which was slightly difficult as we were bike packing.

喜欢: Quiet, back to basics site in a great location. We didn’t make use of it but the communal fire pit was a lovely idea.

不喜欢: All the recent rain meant that the site was very boggy and muddy which limited the options of where we could pitch our tent. Not a huge problem for us as we were first to arrive and it wasn’t busy.

喜欢: Loved the little extra touches at this site, the swings, hammock chair etc. The site was exactly what we wanted. Nice & peaceful & really enjoyed looking at the stars.

喜欢: The setting is peaceful, the facilities are great. We especially appreciated the clean toilets, the viewing platform, and the cosy children's library. It's great that this is possible to book for just 1 night. We're definitely coming back.

不喜欢: The Pitchup page says that coal must be purchased on site, but it turned out that charcoal wasn't available. We had to make an extra trip to the shop to fuel our BBQ.
