喜欢: Quiet, small area, fires are allowed, clean toilet and hot water shower.

不喜欢: Vegetation was quite overgrown. Me and my son ended up with about 5 ticks each on us, some decent landscaping would make a world of difference. The grass was very long and the vegetation from the pond was thick and encroaching. Having designated "tent" areas would help, instead of allowing people to drive all over the grounds, making ruts when it's wet, makes it hard to find a flat area for even a small tent.

喜欢: Nice, secluded, small spot with a quiet lake. Hot shower was nice, no artificial lights, amazing for stargazing (we had a lovely clear sky night as well). Ducks all around and you can park next to your tent, which was great. Hot shower was a treat in the cold evening.

不喜欢: Getting there was a bit of a challenge. Google Maps shows you the way through a nearby stables, which is incorrect. We had to ask around and find our way. I think it would be beneficial if extra instructions were provided as there was no signage at the entrance to the field. Shower a bit flimsy.

喜欢: The whole experience was wonderful - the peace of the place (if you don’t mind animal noises), was wonderful. Space was good and only a few campers on site. We utilised the on-site firepit which was lovely to sit next to and look at the stars. A table and chairs was available too but only one so take your own if this is something you definitely need. A portaloo was available and a shower.

不喜欢: Unfortunately the shower was far too hot but this may have been due to someone else trying to adjust the settings which the site owners tell you not to do in their welcome/directions text.

喜欢: Nice and remote area next to cows and horses Fire stoves for campfires was provided which was a nice touch, made it easier for us

不喜欢: The lake was only accessible where people camped their tents so we didn't really use it or see it as we would've basically been in someone else's "territory" Also the grass was very long we had to use our cars to flatten it down

喜欢: Really liked the minimalism here, it’s a stunning place with only 4 pitches and beautiful views of the lake. The only thing we needed was charcoal and wood for our particular pitch and we were able to grill and keep ourselves warm. There’s lots of animals and sounds of animals around. During the day, there are ducks, a bunch of cows, a horse. At night, while you stare at the stars and look at the moon, you can hear the owls while you go to sleep. There are water taps, a porterloo and a shower with hot water and that’s all enough!

喜欢: Peaceful, not busy, back to basics wild camping. Had a couple of nights father/ son camping and this place couldn't have been any more perfect. Campfire, fishing and the perfect weather

不喜欢: Arrived on a Monday evening after portaloo used all weekend. Bit funky

喜欢: Wild aspect, driving past cows and horses. Private large pitches. Trees.

不喜欢: Bumpy track and uneven rutted pitches. Primitive shower and toilet quite a distance from some pitches.
