Northwood Caravan and Holiday Park

喜欢: Site was immaculate. Well maintained and spotless. Facilities were excellent and also spotlessly clean. Walter, the owner, made us very welcome and was super helpful.
Lots of information was provided about the local area and beyond.

不喜欢: Road noise, the site sits slightly back from the main A road and because of this it can get noisy with traffic.
I think there’s a kennel at the back of the site and the dogs were constantly barking, even during the night.

Walter goes beyond beyond to make everybody feel welcome.
We are situated in a fabulous area and will take pride in the amount of places that are customers can visit and we are more than happy To tell a customers about them.
All pitch up customers receive a welcome text with details about the local restaurants and the surrounding area.

Just a little note, we are situated on the A59 which is a busy road at peak times.
But the road gives excellent access to the Ribble Valley and also we are only 10 minutes away from the M6 motorway.
We do our upmost to make everything a special as we can for all of our customers, but anything that happens outside the park is unfortunately beyond our control.

喜欢: Absolutely lovely adults only site. Immaculate. And thanks so much to Walter onsite who was so helpful to a pair of newbie caravaners with some invaluable help and tips. Will definitely be staying here again

Walter tries very hard to make everybody welcome, and we fully understand when you are new to camping caravanning. It is sometimes not that easy.

喜欢: Walter the manager/owner was great extremely helpful, especially when we said it was our first time with a tourer also our motor mover wasn’t working he got a colleague to help push our caravan into its spot.
Has lots of information about the surrounding area and bus timetables with directions to nearest stops and which side for different destinations, he goes the extra mile. Adult only

We are incredibly lucky to be in such a beautiful area and it’s fantastic, especially for customers with motor homes, to have the bus stop next door .

喜欢: Excellent pitch and facilities. Friendly owners. Two restaurants just outside site, both doing takeaway. This was our second visit, but not our last.

喜欢: Friendly site owner Walter who was very knowledgable of the area and where to go. Nice clean site and amenities block.

不喜欢: There was too much road noise for us personally which did keep us awake quite a bit. There was also quite a lot of barking from a nearby dog breeder, albeit these two points were obviously beyond the site owners control

We are situated on the A59 please take this into consideration when you are booking our park. 99% of customers are not disturbed by the road.
Any unusual / occasional noise in the area is unfortunately out of our control as you have correctly pointed out.
