喜欢: Lovely clean site with good facilities. The site is well positioned for the nearby beaches and walking into Haverigg. Children went on the aqua park and loved it. There are a couple of good play parks in walking distance. We ate at the chippy in Haverigg and had a meal at the ski bar - both were really good. Best of all was the ice-cream shop on site.

喜欢: The most beautiful site, stunning location with fantastic views and walks, shop and chippy less than 5 minutes walk away, really helpful staff, we loved this site (the ice creams were amazing too!) We will be back soon

喜欢: Beautiful views of Black Combe on the large central pitch with a beautiful sandy bay a hundred or so metres in the other direction. Showers were kept clean throughout the day, as was the whole site. Kids enjoyed the park which is to the east of the caravan site and the aqua park on the lake. We will definitely will be coming back.

不喜欢: Where to begin? From the moment we turned into the access road to the minute we drove out - never again. Not recommended at all.

喜欢: Enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Harbour Lights Campsite. The Lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming. The site was very clean and tidy as were the shower and toilet facilities. The site was quiet although there were not many other travellers when we stayed in a midweek. Great for walking coastal paths and beaches with dogs. Ski Bar next door nice for meals (Pizza and Burgers etc) and a beer or two .

不喜欢: Didn't "dislike " anything to be honest. Not too much to do in Haverigg itself but you go for the scenery and walks to be fair.

Haverigg’s wide sandy beach is fab for walks, castle building and kite-based antics, from flying them to being hauled along the sands in buggies at high speed. If you’re after activities on the water, Port Haverigg Wakepark five minutes’ drive away has something wet and wild for everyone. Without straying too far, you can also go horse trekking through the countryside and galloping on the beach from Murthwaite Green trekking centre, or get your kicks with wheels and mud included at Haverigg Motocross Track (both 10 minutes). For walks with wildlife, it’s five minutes to RSPB Hodbarrow, where hosts of rare birds and plants thrive in the distinctive wetland environment. If you want to get higher, Black Combe is officially England’s biggest hill, 30 feet short of being a mountain and accessible by trails starting about 15 minutes' drive away in Wicham. Walks up the famed Old Man and surrounding fells start in Coniston, 40 minutes away. For lakes, well, take your pick… Windermere is 45 minutes away, for boat cruises, steamer trips and watersports as well as lakeside walks and cycling. Families make for Muncaster Castle (half an hour), on account of its Harry Potter-like appearance, resident ghost, adventure trails and playground and its Hawk and Owl centre with regular feeding and flying shows. For even wilder wildlife, the South Lakes Safari Zoo is 40 minutes away or you can Go Ape yourselves at Grizedale, zipping through the forest treetops on wires and ropeways (50 minutes).
