喜欢: Lovely, quiet site. Facilities were basic but clean and well kept. Great TV reception. Terrific views to the fells, owner Michael extremely friendly and helpful. As it was a working farm, we enjoyed the animals, especially the two friendly goats and baby chickens running around 😍

不喜欢: Weak phone signal - oh no, wait - that's a plus 😉

喜欢: Lovely, peaceful site on a working farm. Mike the owner is very friendly and helpful. Good sized pitches with lovely views of the western lake district. Two friendly goats wondering around, nice walks to Ravenglass and Drigg. Facilities are basic but clean.

不喜欢: Could do with washing up area.

喜欢: Scenery, convenience to Ravenglass, the couple who own the site are lovely. Not forgetting the hens and the goats wandering around

喜欢: Lovely peaceful campsite although we were experiencing Storm Lillian so quite a turbulent night. The next morning, the sun was shining and we had amazing views of the mountains. Very friendly owner of the farm and we would definately reccommend this site to friends and family.

不喜欢: There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this site.

喜欢: Fantastic Western Lakes site, within a farm. Peaceful, quiet - ideal for the solo traveller. Fields all around, with views of the mountains in the distance. Toilet, shower and water all available - along with a warm welcome… from the goats!

喜欢: The site was a suitably flat exposed field with electric hook up stations which were fine and the farm itself is fairly remote and away from the main road. Too far for a nip up the road for a pint or two. We are happy to be off big noisy sites, so the isolated location was not a problem to us. Michael, the farmer, extremely amiable. Booked for two nights but stayed for one only, forfeiting the paid fee for second night.

不喜欢: There is a 'super grid 33kV' pylon located in the corner of the small camping field which, as it was raining heavily whilst we were there, was constantly buzzing and crackling loudly. The toilet is located in what was once possibly a very small stone built pig sty which is really not upto the purpose. Whitewashed unrendered stone walls, world's smallest steel was station, very low toilet, shower in the corner with no cubicle just a fabric (ex house window ?) curtain, spiders etc. This is in need of a rethink, money spending and a redesign. This lets the site down. Not the idyllic rural sounds portrayed but very loud cattle noise and banging steel farm building doors (?) all night.

喜欢: Absolutely lovely site, excellent views, very friendly animals wondering around and saying hello. Showers good and close by the pitches. Great walks from the site, close to Ravenglass via coastal path. Friendly welcome from Mike the farmer, really great relaxing site.

喜欢: The whole farm was lovely, beautiful views to wake up to, friendly animals wandering around coming to say hi! The toilet/shower block was close. A very peaceful place and the owner Mike was a very nice chap.

不喜欢: Not a dislike but could maybe do with putting a larger sink for washing up outside
