喜欢 Jonty was an absolute icon, so helpful and friendly, even offered us spare duvets and blankets when we realised we’d packed the single blow up mattress instead of the double 🤦‍♀️

Close to Wasdale head, fantastic views, brilliant pub down the road (try the ribs haha). Good facilities, lots of washrooms and showers. Loads of space and a really great vibe! Quiet after 10pm which is perfect for us and all other campers respectful. Really a brilliant campsite! We will be back for sure, thank you Jonty!

喜欢 The facilities were beyond what we expected as a group, warm showers, free WiFi, spare chairs, and all the privacy in the world. Feels like a real hidden gem spot. Barely a walk to the nearest pub, and the grounds are clean, spacious, and accommodating. Host of the campsite a lovely fellow as well, gave great recommendations and was incredibly friendly to everyone.

喜欢 The host Jonty was absolutely brilliant, we came for 1 night with my partner and 3 young children, my best friend and her son. We enjoyed it that much we came back the weekend after, just me my partner and our children. We stayed for the weekend and jonty gave us brilliant recommendations for things to do whilst there and even gave us directions to numerous places. The campsite has everything you need. Fresh drinking water, flushing toilets(no port-aloos), hot showers, charging spots for phones etc.. extra chairs if you need them, Fire pits and bbqs free of charge, jonty provides wood which you can buy for £10 a bag! You can even purchase fresh eggs from jonty a chickens! The atmosphere is brilliant the children made friends to play with, everyone was friendly and said hello as passing it was honestly such a lovely stay. We will definitely be back some time soon 🫶🏼 Happy camping!

喜欢 Beautiful location. Flat pitches with the best kept grass I've ever seen on a campsite. Good pub within 10 mins walk. Jonty, the owner, was unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Facilities are clean and hot water for the showers was plentiful. It's not going to appeal to hampers but great base for walks and the coast
