Not even a five minute walk to the shore of coniston water, the land itself is based alongside monk coniston car park at the head of the lake.
Multiple walking destinations and routes around.
No groups allowed a friendly, family site with noise restrictions from 10pm but please be respectful with noise at anytime.
Raised bbq’s allowed no fire pits.
Portaloos on site but no other facilities.

Nearest village is coniston a 10 minute walk to the coniston inn for bar food or drinks or a 2 minute drive. A brisk 20 minute walk to the village of coniston or 5 minute drive for the bakery and groceries and meat from a family-run butcher and grocer. The village also has multiple pubs, which serve food, plus a restaurant, cafés, a petrol station, a post office, and gift shops. Quiet, well-behaved dogs are welcome on site although they must be kept on leads due to sheep and lambs over the fence line.
