不喜欢: Very poor toilet and shower facilities. Despite charging a similar amount to other campsites, toilets with no toilet paper, men’s toilet had no seat, shower dirty with filter out covered with black mould, shower ‘block’ just chipboard and unplastered walls.

喜欢: Very friendly owner, went out of his way to get us some fire wood! The park is very well kept and the plots are very spacious!

喜欢: The view Friendly Not too strict Toilets and showers were standard but very clean and always stocked up with hand wash and toilet roll Pub just off site was great! Really friendly staff, spent a lot of time in there on a night due to having no electric in the tent so we went there to stay warm.

不喜欢: We were told we could have an electric pitch but it was half gravel/half grass. We were offered an alternative pitch but with no electric. Our baby was 12 weeks old and we had already set off to go camping. So we couldn’t use a the heater and it was freezing. We were offered a refund for the electric but haven’t received it. I just added an extra layer of clothing on for my baby and used Milton and water to sterilise her bottles. The grass pitch was a better view. Despite this we had a lovely time at Shotley bridge.

喜欢: Location is great, it is just off the road but it doesn't feel like it. There's good walking to derwent reservoir. The campsite is clean and well looked after, including toilets snd showers. There's a pub right next to it, we didn't eat there but had one drink.. it is quite expensive but it's very friendly. We will definitely be back.

不喜欢: Could do with a shop, says it has one but it has closed down.

喜欢: Fabulous and well maintained individually pitches with stunning views. Friendly and very helpful owner who showed us to the pitch. Site was so easily accessed from the main road. All amenities to hand with clean showers and toilet block. Stayed two nights and our dogs were welcomed too. Privacy fencing and hedges made the pitch more exclusive

不喜欢: The unavoidable noise from the road, which may decrease as the plantings grow.
