喜欢 Everything, the site is excellent in every way. Large pitch, excellent clean facilities and in a beautiful location. Wi-fi doesn’t reach all pitches but we had a good phone internet signal with Vodafone so didn‘t bother us.
Nothing really to do with the site but the local pub, the Kielder Tavern, is, to be frank, an appalling dump!

喜欢 Quiet, no light pollution, elevated views, great shower and toilet facilities. So close to the reservoir which is a great cycle ride. Whilst we were there - no barking dogs or screaming children which was bliss

不喜欢 No clear recycling options - just seemed to be one bin for everything.

喜欢 Everything - great little site - it has all that you need and it’s a really straightforward stay. Well located and easy to use and access. The WiFi didn’t reach our pitch but we knew that from other reviews before we arrived, but has a strong 5G signal so didn’t need it. Nothing to complain about and will be back at some point

喜欢 Spotless facilities that were situated close to the pitches. Very peaceful. Level pitch.

喜欢 Beautiful campsite with only a handful of pitches. The best cabin style toilet and shower block I have ever used on a campsite. Can’t wait to go back.

喜欢 Clean, small site with lovely toilet/shower washing up and clothes washing facilities
Quiet, dark skies really respectful other guests hardly any noise and the site was full. Minimum fuss check in and lots of info on nearby activities in the phone box on site. Loved this site and we were lucky to have a clear night - the stars were amazing and the milky way was visible. We would hugely recommend and we will definitely be back.
Handy that there is a petrol station in Keilder really close to site. The WiFi isn’t good but we did not expect there to be any (u need to park at top of site to get the WiFi)
Easy access to the rest of the forest

喜欢 Nice toilet block.

不喜欢 No phone (EE) or TV signal and the WiFi only covers the first three pitches. Dogs running around off leads. Sounds silly but nowhere to put your soap when in the shower and you have to almost get off the loo to get the toilet paper.

Quiet site. Toilets and shower block excellent.
Probably the best shower on a campsite yet.( No silly pressing of buttons every 8 seconds)
Great for cycling and walking from site.
Beautiful area.
The weather was definitely on our side.

喜欢 Lovely quiet site with stunning views. Toilet and shower block exceptional and very clean, so much attention to detail with full pot washing facilities and even a washing machine. Place was spotless and very tranquil.

不喜欢 There was a mix up with over booking and we ended up in the owners garden with electric hook up and water. Fab view and the owners did everything they could to fix the problem.
