喜欢: Lovely small site and Rebecca was lovely and welcoming to us when we arrived and throughout our stay, checking in on us 😊

不喜欢: NO HOT WATER. I couldn't wash my pots or have a hot shower or even wash my face. Expensive for what you got No car allowed at the tent

来自经理: Hi I'm pleased overall you enjoyed your stay , as you say the location is fantastic & pitch was well maintained.The hot water timer was faulty towards the end of your stay ie the last day & water had to be manually heated by pressing a switch. This has now been fixed & the water is a warm 38deg.Im so sorry if this impacted on what was otherwise a very pleasant stay for you & your son.I do hope you'll visit us again in the future to continue your body boarding persuits at Cayton Bay beach. 喜欢: Friendly helpful staff, well located site with good facilities; the farm shop and cafe next door serves great food. The walk to Clayton Bay beach along cliff tops (Cleveland Way) has breath taking views.

喜欢: Nice location. Near a great beach.

不喜欢: Swarms of flies that seemed to only affect our pitch which was on the left by the entrance, so no sooner had we unpacked and set up the tent we packed and left because we weren’t being left alone. The next day we opened the car door to get some stuff out and there were loads of flies that had got in while we were packing away. It was awful. Was a great shame.

来自经理: Hi , I'm so sorry you experienced flies during your visit.At that time a lot of Farmers were working locally on nearby fields & yes it generated an unusal amount of flies in the afternoon, for that time of year.As you mention the location& scenery is great & theres lots to do, eg walks to the beach ,Cayton Bay 20mins , The Cleveland Way 10mins The Tow Bar pub 20mins walk ,Farmshop & Cafe on door step & 10mins walk to 24 hour Spa Grocery store & bus stop,to Scarb & Filey. We are also on the No1 cycle route so cyclist can cycle between Scarb & Filey on established cycle routes

不喜欢: Everything else. Smelt bad, toilets and showers were horrific and unusable. Flies everywhere.

来自经理: Sorry you were not happy with your stay .As you state the location is ideal for a short walk to Cayton Bay beach 15/20mins & only 2 miles to Filey & 10min walk to The Cleveland Way.The toilets are cleaned twice daily, more if necessary & are checked for cleanliness, stock,ie soap / loo roll etc, mornings afternoon & early evening.Local Farmers were harvesting in the area during September & yes sometimes we had flies as is often the case on the Yorkshire Coast.Theres no smells whatsoever emminating from my showerblock or wcs & all are fully serviced & useable for customers.
