喜欢 The pods were really cozy and warm as soon as we got in with plenty of space even with a dog cage and right next to the facilities and the bar which had a pool table, wifi,a good selection of lovely food and drink and friendly bar staff always happy to help will definitely be booking again

喜欢 Plenty of space in the pod, came with bedding, plugs, towels and space for clothes. Probably doesnt need a desk. Wifi reached the pod but dropped out quite a bit.

Breakfast included in the pub and was decent.

It was so wet and windy (storm dave) but the pod felt sturdy and safe. Friendly staff and dog friendly place.

Fairly close to whitby.

不喜欢 Bins seemed to be locked away so ended up putting rubbish in bin across the road. At night the pathway between the gate and the toilets was very dark, nearly fell on the gravel.

喜欢 I have been visiting this pub for 30 years and it’s always a pleasure, clean rooms & camping pods, friendly staff and great beers. Breakfast was very enjoyable too.

不喜欢 Had an evening meal in the bar on our first night but it wasn’t up to the usual standard we’ve grown to expect over 30 years of visiting the Fox - my burger was very overdone and chef didn’t seem to realise Parmesan isn’t usually vegetarian and couldn’t confirm if the vegetarian option on the limited menu was actually vegetarian.

喜欢 Fox and hounds is a dead clean site. The camping pods are spotless. Shower and toilet block was also spotless. Food on the evening was good and very fairly priced. They also have there own beer on tap too which is a good choice. Would highly recommend a stay in one of the pods.

不喜欢 Only downfall is there is no option for breakfast for a pod but there is for a room in the pub. This should be offered to pod guests

喜欢 A great location in a quiet Dales village. The camping pods are located to the rear of the Fox and Hounds pub. Our pod was spotlessly clean and tidy, with fresh clean towels provided.

The pod had electric lights (including an external PIR light - Useful if you need to loo in the night!) and two double power sockets, so we could charge our phones etc. There is a small desk and chair, plus an open-shelved storage unit in each pod - plenty of space to store your clothes and bits and pieces.

Free wi-fi is provided and we found that the signal and speed is good - even in the pod, so checking the odd email and weather report was quick and easy. There is limited-to-no mobile signal (We are on Vodafone) but you can usually switch your phone to 'Voice Over IP' mode if you're desperate to keep in touch with the outside world, but we preferred to enjoy the fresh air and great views.

Our pod had a large double bed (I think twin beds are available on request) which was comfortable and - as someone who is 6ft 5in - it was refreshing to discover that there was no 'foot board' or bedstead to trap my feet in! Indeed, the bed was long enough for me to stretch out.

If you want to sit out in the sunshine, each pod has steps and a small wooden deck, but we brought a pair of camping chairs with us.

There are four separate 'washrooms', each of which can be locked, with a loo, basin, mirror and hot shower in each. Each of these was kept very, very clean too. There are a pair of small hooks and a chair in each washroom, to keep your clothes etc. off the floor.

A small kitchen area is also provided, with a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and kitchen sink. Washing up liquid, sponges and tea towels are provided. Under the sink is a limited range of crockery and cutlery to borrow and use, in case you have forgotten to bring your own.

We ate in the pub each evening (we were there for a Friday and Saturday night) and enjoyed the food and atmosphere, which was warm, inviting and friendly. The pub is very dog-friendly with water bowls, jars of free 'gravy bone' dog biscuits and even the option to order a 'Doggy Sausage' for your four-legged friend(s) from the human food menu!

We would recommend staying at the Fox and Hounds - The accommodation and facilities are spotlessly clean, the food and drink were good and the staff were welcoming and friendly to us and our dog, Alfie.

不喜欢 Very basic for the price, two pillows each would be nice, maybe a wine glass or two in the kitchen for a nightcap.

Check in at 4pm then check out at 10:30am seems a little cruel

喜欢 Beautiful views and surroundings! The pods are a reasonable size, in fact more than adequate for 2 people. My partner and I loved the bed and both said was the comfiest/best night sleep have both had in months. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay again. I also love the fact of how it’s just so secluded essentially in the middle of nowhere.
