喜欢 Great set up and welcome. Easy to access power, disposal spots, recycling, toilets and shower. Peaceful site with individual spots including grass pitches and hard standing. Local pub just up road.

喜欢 Stayed in the lodge, the open plan space was great, the sofa is incredibly comfortable. There was everything we needed for a self catering holiday. We have a 9 month old pup and she enjoyed her stay making good use of the exercise area and the little garden at the rear of the lodge. Mick, the owner was very friendly and helpful although he left us to our privacy for the most part. Good WiFi and very quiet and peaceful.

喜欢 Lovely intimate adult only site in a beautiful location with great views and a
fabulous pub right on the doorstep serving delicious food. Short drives to Settle and Skipton for a mooch around the shops.

Our future guests may be comforted by the reference to “site friendliness”….

This is a perfect example of when guests arrive with dogs, we spend a couple of minutes explaining the rules about being on leads, where the lovely large dog field is to run free and where it is acceptable to poop (the dogs that is…)

Most importantly, we stress that it is not acceptable for dogs to be raging and yapping at our horses and other guests as they walk by….

Leaving two yappy dogs unsupervised without leads to their own devices in an unsafe metal pen is quite frankly the type of behaviour we really dislike. To allow such uncontrolled behaviour is disrespectful to our animals and especially other guests enjoyment of our tiny site. If you believe such rules don’t apply, then please avoid us like the plague!

We hope our future guests appreciate our hard work to ensure a quiet and enjoyable stay with us….

喜欢 Quiet, adults only site. Friendly owner.
Clean toilet and shower facilities.
The Plough pub was really close and served excellent meals. Deals offered before 6.30pm. Booking advisable. A bus service operates from outside the pub, timetable shown on the opposite side of the road. We went into Settle for the day using this service. Saves trying to park.

The owner was very helpful regarding the site and surrounding area.

Added bonus the pub in the village ( The Plough) is spot on. The food was exceptional 😊

喜欢 Our second visit.
A quiet well kept site that is maintained to a high standard.
The new elsan point is an improvement as is the removal of a tree and more flower planting.
Large pitches some in the sun some in the shade.
Can't comment on the showers as did not use but looked clean.
Good to see the bats and an owl flying round at dusk and hear birdsong all day.
A great place for a base to explore the Yorkshire dales from.

喜欢 We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at this lovely adults-only campsite. It’s a peaceful and beautifully maintained site, ideal for anyone looking for total relaxation. The pitches are large and spacious, and the entire site is thoughtfully laid out.

The facilities were spotless – the showers and toilets were immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for us was the secure off-lead dog field – such a great feature for our four-legged companion! Dogs do need to be kept on a lead around the site itself, which is completely understandable as there are horses in the adjacent field.

Although the site is near a road leading into Settle, we only noticed traffic during peak times. Even then, it was never intrusive, and evenings and weekends were beautifully quiet. It certainly wouldn’t put us off staying again.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet, well-kept, dog-friendly getaway.
