This is another part of the grass tent area. no fires are allowed

This is a bit of the grassed area where tents can be pitched

The café, where we serve tea, coffee, food and other refreshments on a daily basis

Our function room and where thursday evening and sunday carvery are served

Token-operated electric hook-ups. these can be bought from the café for £5

喜欢: Very easy check in and instructions on where to go. Very large open field and we were able to choose where we would like to pitch. Large seating area outside of the pub, with a range of food/drinks. Had a beautiful view of the sunset/sunrise.

不喜欢: Wasn’t able to have an electrical pitch with a tent. No plug sockets in the toilet area to use hairdryer ect.

Motorcycle and tent only 无电草地帐篷单元 (无汽车)

喜欢: Stayed in our motorhome with disabled son and his friend in tent. Asked if we could be close to our son for his needs, put us right next to the toilet blocks which was great for him. Loverly cut grass field, very quiet part from the trains which you quickly get used to, will definitely visit again sometime soon and use the facilities.

喜欢: Lovely site and very welcoming and the staff are very friendly helpful, have friends who live there ,regularly go and meet friends, met lots of other people and well looked after site very clean and tidy. Stay there regularly.

喜欢: We stayed for a long weekend, and there was quite a few of us in a mixture of caravans, campervan and tents. and the staff were very friendly and helpful and put our group all together as we’d requested. We had a few dogs with us and there’s a big field area for walking.

喜欢: Bar staff were friendly and helpful, food was affordable and good quality. Camping field was decent quality with flat ground. Toilets were close to the campground and there were water facilities on site. Great site and I'm looking forward to visiting again some time next camping season.

不喜欢: Only slight issue are the trains that pass frequently and sound their horn every time it passes. Not something the site can control but something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper.

Squires Café Bar is well placed for the Yorkshire coast and both the Yorkshire Dales and Yorkshire Moors national parks, about 10 miles from Leeds city centre and with York within biking distance for a day trip. On fine and sunny days, ramble/bike along, fish from or take a boat out on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, the longest in Northern England, or take a picnic to the 1500 acres of parkland at Temple Newsam House and Farm, birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots’s caddish hubby Lord Darnley and listed as one of the top three museum sites in the country by an author in the know. Xscape Yorkshire is a nifty nearby option for rainy days or indoor evenings, as it’s crammed with activities such as Laserzone and adventure golf, restaurants, bars, clubs, a cinema and shops (the outlet shopping village Junction 32 is just opposite). Further afield, the Doncaster Dome has a seven-pool waterworld and the UK's only split level ice rink – you’ll have had loads of practice by then at the Squires Café Bar rink…
