喜欢 We were so impressed with this site. On arrival we were greeted with a very warm welcome. The site is absolutely immaculate , it is so well looked after. The facilities were the best we've ever seen. They were so clean. We loved our stay so much and there aren't many sites to match this one. Very sad to leave.

喜欢 Peaceful, simple campsite with plenty of space. No hills here, everything on the level. Good showers, everything nice and clean. Handy position for visiting Thirsk, Ripon, Fountains Abbey or a stopover just off the A1M.

不喜欢 There was a problem with the padlock on the gate and we were locked in the site when we needed to be away at 7.30am to see friends competing at the GYS (the whole point of our stay). We tried to call the given number 7 times but never got an answer. My partner tried knocking on the farmhouse door but didn't get an answer there either. Eventually after half an hour a man in his dressing gown and slippers was seen in the yard and when approached he was quite unapologetic about the situation but did cut the padlock. Shame as we've stayed here before but won't be booking again. Perhaps consider providing an alternative number to call. Luckily this wasn't an emergency but could easily have been.

喜欢 Really good location, well kept and clean site. Good space around and good size pitches. Good facilities. Friendly. An enjoyable stay and accessible to Thirsk, Ripon, Fountains Abbey ….
不喜欢 Only a couple of small things. Only one pot wash place which wasn’t a problem during our stay but could have been if busier. My wife said she’d have liked a small sanitary bin in the ladies loo.

喜欢 Great serviced pitch, good size, nice clean toilet and shower blocks.
Well maintained areas. Adults only, peaceful site. Approximately 10 mins from either Ripon or Thirsk.

喜欢 I was sent a text message a reminder for the gate code, which was great as it saved me digging through my emails! The showers, toilets and grounds were spotless! The pitches were a clearly marked and had a good size, the land was even, making it nice and easy for our tent.
The woman who owns the site even came out in person to greet us and let us know where the amenities were and to make sure we were all set, I saw her do this for every person that arrived, which was a lovely personal touch we hadn't had from other sites on our trip.
