喜欢 friendliness of host. clean pitches,with electric cables provided for hookup.
washing up liquid and kitchen towel in wash up area. freedom to choose a pitch on arrival. one way system on farm road to prevent meeting oncoming traffic. dog friendly and beautiful views.

喜欢 The location was stunning. The site was incredible well maintained. Spotless facilities. Fantastic WiFi which I wasn’t expecting. Quiet and relaxing. The owners Paul and David were friendly and welcoming.

喜欢 We liked the pitch very much , wet peaceful , lovely rural views , good facilities , easy access to the A1

不喜欢 The paper towel bins were overflowing/not regularly emptied when we visited , so made me doubt whether the toilet / showers etc had been cleaned .

喜欢 Stayed 1 night greeted by a friendly chap who made sure everything was fine ,nice clean toilets, nice warm electric showers and nice spacious flat pitches with ehu ,Internet worked well .will be visiting again for longer next time

喜欢 The farm is easy to find, and a very calm and pretty location with good sized pitches and easy to get set up. We found the WiFi worked great which was a bonus as we hadn’t expected it. The owner was always on hand checking everyone was ok, and was lovely and friendly. Our dogs loved laying out in the grass watching the comings and goings.
We only spent one night as we were on route further north but it was a really lovely stay and would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

当地景点

Howgrave Hall is between Bedale to the north and Ripon to the south, both within 20 minutes’ drive of the farm. Like many towns in this part of Yorkshire, Bedale’s a fine shopping town for local produce and specialities of all sorts: market days are on Tuesdays and the Bedale car boot sale is held every Saturday from April to October. Access the Wensleydale Railway at Bedale too, on its 22-mile puff between Leeming Bar and Redmire. Heading south, Ripon is most famed for its cathedral, founded in the city in the seventh century, and for Ripon Racecourse, on a site where jockeys have raced since the early 18th century. A 10-minute drive out of town just inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Park, a must-see if you’re anywhere in the region. Even the kids should/might be impressed by Ripon and its surrounds; if not, zip speedily back up north for a day at Lightwater Valley Theme Park (15 minutes' drive), home of Europe’s longest rollercoaster.
