If you’re setting off to East Yorkshire in search of sea views… well, you’ve found them at Sea View Country Park. This site is just on the edge of the ancient hamlet of Mappleton, about five minutes’ drive south of Hornsea, and has views out over the North Sea coast. That location makes this family-run site a great spot for a bit of seaside relaxation – and there’s a beach about three minutes’ walk away too for those who’d like to get even closer. There's a car park by the beach and a concrete ramp leads down to the sands, so it’s accessible for less-mobile guests. Just past the beach entrance (about five minutes’ walk from the site) is a tea room serving home-cooked meals along with takeaway sandwiches for a picnic on the sands. As well as the beach just by the site, it’s not far to Hornsea, which has another lovely beach plus plenty of places to shop and eat (including an award-winning fish and chip shop). Elsewhere along the coast, you may like to visit other seaside towns like Bridlington, or look out for passing birds at RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Or, if you’re feeling particularly energetic, pick up the Pennine Trail which will take you all the way over west to the Irish Sea. Dogs and kids are welcome at this park, where facilities have been kept to the essentials to preserve a peaceful atmosphere. All of the spacious pitches have water and electrical connections, and there are modern shower and toilet blocks with baby changing facilities and disabled access. There is also a dog park where canines can let off steam.

喜欢 Great site, massive concrete pitch with electric hook up, water and waste. Very peaceful and quiet, close to the beach with a sea view. Love this place, WILL come back.

喜欢 This is a fabulous site, very clean and tidy, the shower and toilet block was also very clean and well kept, and always had hot water throughout. The grounds was well kept with very friendly staff.
We took our 2 dogs, which enjoyed exercise area and with the beach access straight across the road, they had a fab time also. We would definitely recommend this site.

喜欢 The camp site was really peaceful, clean the toilets very clean, liked the added extras of the hand cream and perfume.... Especially liked the enclosed dog area where the dogs could be off the lead.

不喜欢 Not camp site fault but you had to get in the car to go anywhere, so if you don't mind that then this is a camp site for you... The walk to the beach is along the path by the road.
