喜欢 Good sized, level pitches. Very good, clean facilities. Convenient location for the Broads and that part of Norfolk. Very pleasant owners (but only seen on arrival.)
We virtually had it to ourselves at this late point in the season.

不喜欢 No dog poo-bins. No Wi-Fi and very poor mobile signal. It didn't bother us, but there was no office with information about the site or region.

喜欢 We stayed with our dog Stanley for 3 nights on an electric pitch which was extremely spacious- enough room for the van, gazebo and awning + more. On arrival early evening, there was nobody around, the place was deserted bar 2 other caravans, nobody to speak to or check in so we proceeded to choose our own pitch. Upon discovering that the electric hook up wasn't working, we did phone the number on the pitch up email and spoke to somebody from the site who advised us. We didn't see this nameless person until after we had packed up our van and parked in their carpark to have breakfast after 'checking out'. There didn't appear to have been a checking in/out process, and there was nobody to be seen for 3 days at the campsite- perhaps this is normal but we are fairly inexperienced campers (We did appreciate the quietness, likely due to the time of year)- We did feel perhaps it would be easy for anybody to pitch up there and they wouldn't notice squatters.
We found the toilets/showers and washing up area, and these appeared to be in full working order with good water pressure. There is only 2 showers which could cause a long wait in busy periods. Be warned, if using the shower cubicle on the right, the lock on the cubicle door gets stuck causing a moment of panic!
There is a very large Orchard in the grounds which is nice to walk through, and in the building itself, we were pleasantly surprised to find an indoor makers market, jewellrey shop, boutique clothes shop, furniture shop, beauty salon, very large cafe, and butchers that provided sausages and bacon served in the cafe. We bought a few items in the makers market, and meat from the butchers which we cooked on the bbq- it was absolutely delicious. We were amazed to see how consistently busy the cafe was, from 9am there would be people waiting for tables, considering how big the place was, every single table was full at all times!
Everybody that we spoke to, wether staff or customers were extremely kind and friendly. Our dog had lots and lots of attention, so we got chatting to lots of people.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will be looking forward to staying again! Well done to the management for creating a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere!

不喜欢 Getting locked in the shower!
The toilets weren't always clean, they just appeared to have some bleach thrown down them.
Lack of greeting/instructions upon arrival.

喜欢 Super clean facilities and extremely quiet site. Loved it.
Train station withing 15 minutes walk - 10 minutes to Norwich.

喜欢 Location, modern building with variety of shops, quietness, the grounds to wander around…… size of the pitches and marked out was a significant bonus ensuring no one close by. Friendly staff

不喜欢 No WiFi availability which would be a major boost as limited 5G signal. Small sinks!

喜欢 Big pitches, water/electric close by. Hedge separation nice touch.
Quiet and a no fuss site 👍

不喜欢 Can see site under development and feel further shower/toilet facilities will need to be included to cater fully for campers

喜欢 Great location - explore Norwich and Broads
Large pitches
Salhouse farm and farmers market
Spacious toilet cubicles
Good showers
Helpful and friendly staff

不喜欢 Small wash basin in toilet - difficult for cleansing routine
Toilets become public toilets when farm shops are open. Its awkward coming out the shower

Pitches not labelled - we didnt mind the farmers market and some traders car parked in surrounding pitch, one person parked right next to our van on our pitch and almost ran our dog over who was tethered to his outdoor spike. ( one of staff did try to help and find owner of the car

No wifi / no reception ( only in the cafe)

Campsite is developing but felt a bit lifeless in evenings

喜欢 Quietness, convenience, sunny balcony to use in the evening, friendly, clean, nice shops.

不喜欢 Requires improved washing up area, recycling bins, larger sinks in the toilet for teeth cleaning & another hook in the shower.

喜欢 Nothing not to like, large pitches,farm shop & restaurant very good . Also very friendly staff. Wash rooms all clean and tidy. 15 min walk into village 👌

喜欢 Good tidy pitch, with a large individual pitch size. Very clean facilities. Staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Nice quiet spot. Will visit sgain

不喜欢 The site is a work in progress,
There are only 3 showers and 3 toilets which is nowhere near enough taken in consideration they serve the shops aswell
