Woodlands Caravan Park

喜欢 Everything really lovely campsite. Good set up and easy to pitch up on. Good facilities and park for the kids and easy accessibility. Easy going with arrival and departing, really convenient with being able to turn up any time before 10pm. We will definalty be back.

喜欢 Kind and friendly staff, great facilities, very clean, well maintained, large amount of facilities, choose your own pitch, great for families, great for dogs, great locations, easy walk to Sheringham park.

喜欢 Decent bar serving food. Good showers and toilet facilities, spacious pitch. Good bus services to Holt, Sheringham and Cromer which are all worth visiting. Reception were friendly and helpful. Good walks for the dog.

不喜欢 Food was served in takeaway cartons and wooden cutlery which for £15 I would have appreciated crockery and normal cutlery. Both wifi and mobile signal were not good at all although we were made aware of this.

喜欢 This is a very clean and tidy camp site
They have a lovely club house.
They serve food which is at a reasonable price. Toilets and showers clean
Bus stops outside the camp site can hop on and will take you to sherringham then onward to Cromer if wanted too

喜欢 Lovely friendly caravan park, very well laid out with the showers/toilets in the middle of the site. The showers and toilets were very clean as was the washing up area. Nice hot water throughout. On arrival we were given a piece of paper with some rules which some people moan about, but basically tells you which way to park your van so no one blocks the way.
You can order food at the bar to take back to the van or eat in, the pizza we had was home made and really nice.
There is a really good play area for kids although we didn’t have any we did take our babies, our dogs, and that’s where this site really shone through, there is a walkway down the back of the bar which leads into the forest and to sheringham park. You can walk for hours with the dogs and only cover a very small part of it. A quick suggestion, take a torch, myself and my wife went out and walked for miles, all was good until we realised the time, 2hrs walking in one direction away from the site and about 45 minutes until it was dark, now we had torches, but dear god was that a creepy walk back, I had no idea my imagination was that active. We loved saying at this site so much so we added an extra night on the end of our stay, we will definitely be coming back. The only negative is the speed bumps on the way in, I understand the purpose but boy are they harsh, even at a crawling pace.

喜欢 This was the first time staying in this area and initial impressions upon arrival was that the site was well presented and the reception process and staff were welcoming and efficient.
After setting up, we walked around the site and the two touring sites were neat and tidy.
An additional bonus for us was the availability of a local bus service outside the site entrance which allowed us to visit the local area as much as we wanted.
Overall, the facilities on site were all well looked after and the staff were welcoming and friendly

不喜欢 Having stayed on several pitch up sites, our dislikes are minimal but future visitors ought to be aware of them.
Firstly, the advertised wi-fi reception was almost non existent - minimal is the best way to describe it - and when this was mentioned to the reception team they agreed and assured us that they were attempting to deal with this but it has not been resolved.
Secondly, the toilet cubicles and in particular the Gents, were not clean with a constant remains of human waste being evident. There were no toilet cleaning brushes in the cubicles although, the brush holders were!! No cleaning staff were present to clear the toilet pans or the facilities in present.
Finally, the pitches were in poor condition with the grass having worn away making the pitches very dry which made any for any tourer interiors meant having to undertake daily cleaning. The dryness is probably as a result of constant usage of groundsheets or floor coverings within awnings and this should be drawn to the site ground staff

喜欢 Quite, clean, plenty of space around the pitch, good selection of drinks in the bar, the food was basic but good.

不喜欢 The campsite shop could’ve done with being bigger, in order to hold more lines of food and drink.

喜欢 Beautiful setting, very peaceful and some fantastic walks all sign posted from the site. Toilets and showers really good too.
