Have you ever been to the Norfolk coast? Pine-ing to return or to see it for the first time? Come and stay at Pine Cones Caravan and Camping, near King's Lynn inland and Heacham and Hunstanton on the coastline – this is such a royally good region that King Charles and his cohorts have a pad at Sandringham just a mile away. If the king were camping, it's a fairly safe bet he would like the up to date and excellently kept amenities at Pine Cones too: 16 warm luxury bathrooms, all with their own shower, toilets, basin and storage racks; a roomy, indoors washing-up area with several sinks and plenty of drainer space; and a washing machine and dryer in a separate room to sort out the laundry. Once the essentials are sorted, send the kids off to the adventure playground to try out the treehouse, rope ladders and high level walkway, and settle down in the picnic area with coffee and eats… there's a coffee machine on site and the well-stocked shop sells a good selection of items including bread, milk, and fresh and frozen food. A selection of outdoor gym equipment is also available for the energetic holidaymaker. Off site, Pine Cones is about a mile from the nearest pub the Feathers, or trot off to award-winning the Coach and Horses. Both are in nearby Dersingham village, where there's also a supermarket, takeaway and coffee shop dishing up homemade cakes daily.

喜欢: Right from the start this was a great place to stay. Arrived to a very friendly welcome, all the staff were helpful and polite! Facilities perfect! Toilets were all individual rooms with a shower, heated towel rails and space to dry yourself without standing in a puddle of water. All were clean and very well presented. Great bar area for when we wanted drink 🥃 too. Would recommend to anyone and would certainly go back. Well done to all the team!!

Pine Views 露营舱

喜欢: Overall we had a great few days staying at this site. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the facilities were well maintained and very clean. The radio in the toilet/shower rooms was a great touch! They have just opened a bar with large projector screen which was lovely, my children enjoyed a movie while I enjoyed a very nice pint of beer! We stayed in the wooden pod, which again was well maintained. The children loved this, ad had the necessary amenities for a base for a long weekend. They also enjoyed the small children's play area, which was a nice addition. For a small site, to me is very well equipped and would absolutely stay again!

喜欢: Super friendly staff, very informative. Loved the constant 80s music in the shower rooms which certainly made us smile. Very close to Sandringham with lots of local walks. Loved The Feathers pub which was close by, the best Ghost Ship ever. So much wildlife including red kites soaring above us. Will definitely return!

喜欢: Perfect location with lots of great local walks. Really dog friendly. The best toilet/shower facilities we’ve seen. Bens bar is a great addition.

喜欢: Great facilities, very tidy park with plenty of space on the pitches. The staff were very friendly. There was a child friendly park and it was only a short drive to Heacham, Snettisham and Hunstanton. We will certainly return.

不喜欢: Possibly a seasonal thing and the bar was new but longer bar hours needed.

Beaches, historic houses, museums and festivals, tiny villages, market towns and fab family days out are all easily accessible from Pine Cones Caravan and Camping – after a day at Sandringham, but of course, to wave at the king first... Within a couple of miles, the deer safaris, farming activities and walking trails of Snettisham Deer Park and the sights and smells of Norfolk Lavender are both good options for a day out; Snettisham has an RSPB reserve too for those itching to twitch. But as you're probably in west/north Norfolk for the beaches, head to Heacham, Holkham and Hunstanton first, the closest sands to Pine Cones, and then take a trip to Brancaster 11 miles away; the family-friendly and very scenic sands of Sheringham, Cromer and Mundsley are a little further along the coast. (Also, the final scenes of Shakespeare in Love were filmed at Holkham, and all the beaches in these parts are fairly filmworthy, so bring your camera.) Other excellent options for days out include village hopping and shopping among the scenic sights of Dersingham, Holt, Fakenham, Aylsham and Burnham Market to pick up some local produce, or going along to one of Norfolk's festivals or events: there's usually something going on throughout the year. Pine Cones is also on the edge the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – bring walking boots, crabbing nets and plenty of room for picnics.
