With a spectacular location on the North Norfolk coast between Sheringham and Cromer, Beeston Regis Holiday Park is rightly nicknamed nicknamed ‘The King of the Clifftop View’. Set in 62 acres, the site’s two spacious touring and camping fields are indeed on the clifftop – and the majority have sea views. With ample space for parking, the level grass pitches in Church Field all have electric hook-ups, while Hay Field is designated a non-electric, tents-only meadow with the chance to select the pitch of your choice (subject to availability). Both fields are dog-friendly and the Norfolk Coast Path is easily accessible for walkies, while much of West Runton Beach (10 minutes’ walk) is open to dogs all year. You’re welcome to fire up your barbecue on site – buy stuff for the grill from the big supermarket in Sheringham (five minutes’ drive)… but if you’d rather someone else did the catering for you, there are a couple of pubs – both with beer gardens for warmer days – in West Runton (half an hour’s walk). And a final word: park amenities include a top-quality shower block with reliable hot water, washing-up sinks, a launderette service and Elsan point.

喜欢: The site was perfectly situated with access onto the Norfolk Coast Path for lovely walks. The facilities were great, really clean. There was a little food/coffee van which unfortunately wasn't open during our stay but I imagine this is a perfect spot to grab bacon butties and hot drinks. There was access to WiFi but with our location the connection was a bit slow for streaming.

喜欢: Pleasant and welcoming staff. Spacious plots, some levelling required. Very good shower block. Ample hot water for dishwashing. Laundry on site.

喜欢: Fabulous right from the start, lovely welcome at reception with welcome pack ready, map, info, gate card and directions. A great pitch on the coast path meamt we could hear the sea and views on this part of Norfolk can give - finishing with the most spectacular sun set over Beeston Bump. Lovely facilities and cleaned regularly and pleased to have a coffee at the coffee truck in the morning to finish my walk.

喜欢: Very welcoming staff when we arrived to book in and given a booklet that showed our pitch number which was really easy to find. Our pitch was in the perfect position looking out towards the sea with the coastal path along the cliff top about 30m away from us, during our stay, we took the path to Sheringham a couple of times which is approx 1 mile away and walked the opposite direction to Cromer, this is about 3.5 miles away. Beautiful scenery around our location and places to stop when using the coastal path for a breather and refreshments. There was also a hot, cold food and drinks catering trailer parked at the side of the toilet/shower block that opened up for 08:00hrs everyday, could buy breakfast if you didn't fancy cooking, it was also there for the walkers on the coastal path to use. The toilet/shower block is kept to high standard of cleanliness and importantly designed with easy access to wheelchair users. I recommend this site for anyone who needs a pitch in the Sheringham area.

喜欢: I loved everything, the view from the pitch was amazing. Toilet and shower block was all I needed. Little caffe on the site amazing, lady owner was so nice and polite. The trail walks are all you need for the nice stay. I was there for two nights but it was so much to do around I could stay for a week so I definitely will be back. Staff in the office very nice and helpful.

当地景点

Keen walkers can be striding the Norfolk Coast Path within five minutes of putting on their boots. Shorter walks include the circular amble through beach woodland, heather and gorse at National Trust-owned West Runton and Beeston Regis Heath (35 minutes’ walk), which takes in Beacon Hill – one of the highest points in flat Norfolk – the relics of a former Roman camp and Stone Hill, with fine views to the North Sea. The animal-mad among you can get your fix at Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary (five minutes’ drive), where rescue alpacas, donkeys and goats join the stately Shire horses for cuddling and petting duty. You might also be lucky enough to spot grey seals on the sand spit at Blakeney National Nature Reserve (25 minutes), where you can also wander around the salt marshes looking for snipe, warblers and terns. Once a fishing village, coastal Sheringham (five minutes’ drive) has lots of indie shops to browse, along with a pebble beach with rock-pooling potential when the tide is out. Cromer (10 minutes) beckons with a long sandy sward, shows at the Pavilion Theatre on its Victorian pier and an artwork from Banksy’s ‘Great British Spraycation’ installation on one of the sea walls.
