喜欢: Lovely little site with good amenities. Was still a bit wet after the recent rain, but the site manager put us on the hardstanding with a grass area to pitch the awning. Country Park just across the road from the site with stunning lake and visitors centre. Ouse Valley Way starts at the back of the site with great walks along the river. The owners Great Dane sounds scary when she is looking over the fence but in person is a big softy. Easy access to both fresh water and grey/chemical emptying points. Showers were spotless as was the toilet block as a whole. Will be visiting again John

喜欢: Easy to find, with good access. The site can be quite wet after heavy rain, as was the case on this visit, but the site has extra wide internal roads and we were able to stay on the road overnight, which was really convenient. Easy access to water and disposal points.

喜欢: Quiet touring site with level grass pitches. Clean facilities and well-kept green areas. Welcomed by friendly Site Warden and shown our pitch. I had written on my booking a specific requirement and the Site Manager was very understanding of my this. When you arrive, you need to phone the Reception area and given a pass number for the security gate and the keypad is on the back of the barrier so you need to get out of your vehicle to access this! Watched quite a few people looking for this in confusion. Upon arrival you are given a door code to access the Showers/Toilets and Washing- Up facilities. Plenty of good walks around, especially if you head over to UK's largest flood Plain meadow (Portholme) where you can walk to Godmanchester and Huntingdon. The canals nearby are exceptionally clean and you can spot the local wildlife doing their thing....

不喜欢: Not a real problem but can be inconvenient for some - the facilities shut for cleaning at 10.30 - 11.00 so if you are leaving the site to go home at 11.00 am (like most customers do), you are not able to visit the facilities just before you leave! I did anyway at around 11.05 am am as I was somewhat desperate, but there was no-one in the building anyway. I felt a bit naughty breaking this rule! 11.00 to 12.00 pm would be an ideal choice of shutdown, but then I am not a busy Warden with lots to do!

Point noted about toilet block closure at 1030am but please note latest check out is 11am and it takes an hour to turn the block around (plus myself!!) and ready for new people checking in at 12noon so sadly not possible to close them later!
