Chilli cheese loaded fries from the fabulous food truck

Onsite bar. plenty of room outside for kids to play

Beautiful sunset in a beautiful campsite

This is the field behind the campsite which the owners let us roam around and walk the dog .

Just before sadly england lost 😫it was shown on big screen in marquee.

I even lost my fiancé to this young lady in the bar 😫lol!!!!

This was our home for the 3 nights very peaceful!!

喜欢: Very clean site. Facilities very good. Small pub on site with a good selection of drinks. Good dog walks easily accessible from directly from site. Pitches andare large and flat. Would recommend

喜欢: Really nice campsite, quite clean and good facilities. The wifi was very quick which as a first time camper allowed me to have one home comfort. This has set the bar very high for future sites Special shout out to Jane who was really lovely, and made me feel relaxed when I first got there and was nervous to get set up

不喜欢: Nitpicking but nothing walkable that was interesting, however lots to see a short car journey away

喜欢: The site has the cleanest and loveliest bathroom facilities that I’ve experienced- with great little wet rooms. Another absolutely plus is the on site pub and food truck- can thoroughly recommend the loaded chilli cheese fries. Jump on a bus from just down the road in the village of Witcham into Ely for a hassle free car less daytrip. Take some of your old books with you too to swap at the bus stop

喜欢: A small site which was ideal for us, extremely clean and tidy, it had everything we needed. We were only there for two nights. Received a warm welcome on arrival and allowed to pick our pitch. Level pitch, good TV signal. We walked up the road into the village (no shop) to get the bus into Ely. The petrol station on the main road had a Londis for emergency supplies but crossing the road was dangerous. We loved our stay and would recommend!

Ely (15 minutes’ drive) has endless activities to keep you entertained: head to this town to roam around the cracking cathedral and stained-glass museum before leaping onto a Liberty Belle Cruises boat at Ship Lane to bob along the Great Ouse river. Fancy a flutter? Newmarket (35 minutes) is known for being the birthplace of horse racing, so it’s a must-visit spot for equestrian types. Peer at the high-tech displays in Palace House’s National Horseracing Museum, timing your visit to the town just right to catch a fixture at the renowned racecourse afterwards. If you’re hot on history, you’ll want to amble around Anglesey Abbey (35 minutes) and admire the artworks before covering some of the 98 acres of grounds during a stroll. Wander to Wimpole Hall (40 minutes) later on, stopping to fawn over the farm animals that live here, then eye up the aviation displays – an old Concorde plane included – at the Imperial War Museum Duxford (40 minutes). Many of East Anglia’s other absorbing attractions are in Cambridge (40 minutes): think a series of stunning colleges, fab art galleries like the Fitzwilliam Museum and pleasant punting on the River Cam.
