Trawling the net for a top fishing site where you can spend your next holiday? Sort yourself a break at Clay Farm, a rural spot in Clows Top, Worcestershire with pretty waterside views and a handful of well-maintained pitches next to its ponds. This spacious place has a relaxed feel, so it’s a pleasant option for settling in – and chilling out – in the countryside, even when you’re not angling. But if you are? There’s a large 12-foot deep pool filled with common, mirror, crucian and grass carp weighing up to 25lbs, with lots of tree cover for when shelter is needed. Clay Farm's small carp pool is excellent for younger fishing fans looking to dip their toe in the sport, and there’s another pond containing tench, roach, bream and chub.​ (Fishing comes at an extra charge, payable on site.) In terms of amenities, Clay Farm is towards the simpler end of the scale, with well-maintained toilets but no on-site shower facilities. And as for off-site attractions? Head to the Wyre Forest National Nature Reserve (five minutes’ drive) to stretch your legs, or peer at the exotic creatures at West Midland Safari Park (20 minutes).

喜欢 Quiet and clean.

不喜欢 Needed better lighting on a night. No lights were on around 10.30pm when we needed to go to the toilet block. I would also recommend a dog litter bin.

喜欢 Lovely campsite, we were very impressed with the layout, pitches and facilities. We stayed here for 1 night as we had been to west midland safari park and then onto hatton adventure park so was a nice little overnight stay at a very reasonable price. Beautiful area to relax and watch the stars in the evenings. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike, we just didnt have enough time to enjoy the area around the fishing lake and woodland areas.

喜欢 Cleanliness and the grounds were kept beautiful. Were greeted by a lady who was out walking greeting the campers which was very lovely. A shame to see that she had been picking up litter left behind by campers!!

不喜欢 Loudness of the garage. They were there till almost 9pm and arrived at 8am this morning banging around. They were pleasant but it was a little disturbing. Would have preferred to have camped over the over side where we noticed another group camping.

喜欢 What a great little campsite. So peaceful and full of wildlife.
I loved the peace and quiet for a few days. Kevin loved the fishing.
Would definitely stay again.
The grandkids loved the freedom camping brings and we loved them playing outside
