喜欢: • nice view
•peaceful
•field with cows next door but no noise or smell so not a problem

不喜欢: •small field with a house at the bottom. Felt like we camped in someone’s garden.

•field is on a slant. (Kept slipping in the tent and tables etc sliding to one side)

•only 1 toilet and shower in a wooden shed. Toilet and shower itself was clean but the shed was dirty covered in dead bugs, spiders and cobwebs.

•shower water kept turning cold

•there needs to be a silent time as drunk campers were shouting and playing loud music until 2:00am

•lots of mud patches and holes in grass

喜欢: Great place, nice and remote,quiet. Toilets were adequate for size of site. Will book again. Didn’t meet anyone from the site but there was no need as all self explanatory. I’m sure if any issues arose they would be easy to contact.. amazing views too

不喜欢: No info that I saw in the description about the site being on quite a slope. I did manage to get somewhere near the top of the field so ok for the night we stayed as not very busy.. luckily.

喜欢: Lovely small campsite, very basic but what we like. Electric hook ups, water, beautiful scenery and the sunsets are unreal!

不喜欢: Toilet & shower facility very basic, could do with a bit more maintenance.

喜欢: The views, sun rise n sets, nice location and quiet.

不喜欢: Only 1 toilet, not the cleanest, no toilet paper at all over the time we were there.
Water taps in the field not easy to get to, as there we're 4 large tents, guide ropes, campers equipment surrounding the area, causing tripping hazards, accident waiting to happen!!
Simple solution, Mark the area out with signs, and a path in and out of the area to provent the owners paying out!!!

喜欢: Out in the open, plenty of field for the kids to play, within minutes to the closest small pub (delicious Sunday dinners!) and within 20/30 mins from everywhere else if needed.

不喜欢: We couldn’t get the shower to work, just giving out freezing cold water. Nothing else to dislike.

喜欢: Neil was amazing. Really accommodating. As we were a big group he opened up another field for us so we could spread out and not disturb other campers. Very much appreciated by all I’m sure!
The countryside is stunning and we would highly recommend!

不喜欢: BBQ needs some love and attention.

喜欢: Beautiful views! Stunning sunset. Beautiful views of the night sky. Lovely and friendly gentleman who took payment off us. Lots of space for kids to play. Very helpful if anything was needed by owner. Our kids had the best time for their first camping trip.

不喜欢: Basic facilities for everyone only 1 toilet and 1 shower. Dogs were not kept on leads as it was stated on the gate that they should be. Noisy music banging until 4:30am by the group in the field next to us, we have young kids, we didn't enjoy our last night there, hardly any sleep. - not the site owners fault on that one. Now about the road closures everywhere in the local area! Took us 1hr 20mins to get back from a simple trip to get some BBQ food. We only live 1hr 30away from the site. - again not the owners fault.

喜欢: This place is a true hidden gem. Feel so lucky to have found such a beautiful and peaceful campsite. The farmer Neil and his family are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and have made some friends for life with other campers. Fantastic atmosphere, stunning views, friendly people. Will deffo be back!

喜欢: Lovely site with beautiful views (even with the almost non-stop rain!)

Facilities are basic but everything you'd need from a semi-wild type site - flushing toilet, sink with hot water and a shower.

Was also easy to find and we pretty much had the site to ourselves which was an added bonus!

Price was also an absolute bargain
