There appears to be work underway to improve things, which is encouraging, but due to the recent poor weather, the site was very saturated and currently feels a little run down.

喜欢 Lovely friendy site unfortunately because of the weather it was very boggy.

不喜欢 We found the electric to be very expensive. We were there from Friday evening to Sunday morning and it cost £35.

来自经理: The electric is pay as you go so if you use a lot you pay a lot so perhaps you could consider the environment and use a little less

喜欢 Nice large stoned pitch, water and elsan disposal available. Although it backs onto main road, this was quiet overnight and site is located in a rural area with a pub a few yards down the road for food. We had a good undisturbed overnight stay. Site is convenient for the NEC only 15 mins away if you are attending an exhibition.

喜欢 Lovely spot for four nights. Yes you are near the road but really didn’t bother us at all. Was ideal for visiting family nearby and for the football matches in Coventry.
Donkeys were super cute and volunteers very informative and friendly.
Have never used pay as you go for electricity but system was easy to operate and I do understand why sites are now charging for electricity separately.

喜欢 Large gravel pitch with easy access. Each pitch has a tap and although electric is extra, it's very easy to set up. Will definitely visit again.

喜欢 It is a nice site, big pitches and lots of grass areas to walk the dogs, etc. Water & electric was very easy as all pitches are fully-serviced. Staff were also nice & friendly. I would stay here again, maybe... see the dislikes.

不喜欢 However, what lets this site down for us is the price. £25 for a night is fine for a site with no facilities, however, from our opinion, this should include electric. By the time you have added your own electric on top, it makes it a very expensive site. I understand the need to control costs, but what is the £25 for exactly? A bit of cold water? For £35 per night (after you've paid your electric) there are lots of other sites, with facilities. This is a real shame, as at £15 per night + electric, this would be a no brainer. However, it isn't so it would be further down the choice list if we're staying local again :(
