Meadow Barn Field

There’s so much for families to see and do. Kids can wear themselves out on rope trails and activity courses at Conkers adventure park (25 minutes' drive), sail a dinghy at Bosworth Water Park or join in keeper sessions at Twycross Zoo (both 10 minutes). With its rollercoasters and dinosaur-themed trail, Drayton Manor Theme Park (25 minutes) should be on your to-do list too. For more cultural days out, explore the armoury and dungeons at medieval Tamworth Castle (30 minutes), or take a guided tour of the historic battleground at the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre (10 minutes). For a different perspective, steam trains run right past the battlefield in summer. To slow the pace completely, lose yourself on countryside walks directly from the campsite, or follow trails through the wild meadow and arboretum at Market Bosworth Country Park (10 minutes). Arbury Hall (20 minutes) and Coombe Abbey (35 minutes) would be good picks if you prefer country estates, or try Lucky Tails Alpaca Farm (20 minutes) if your rural break needs a dose of cute creatures.
