Teds Farm Camping

喜欢: The whole site was exceptional. It was clean and quiet. Kids were playing out and enjoying themselves.
We stayed at the top of the field so we had a nice walk down to feed the chickens everyday.
The facilities were immaculate, couldn't fault them. Cleaned everyday, well stocked, showers we're warm and had great pressure.
The shop was a real delight, only having opened a few weeks ago, a great choice of stock, fresh eggs, fresh strawberries all locally sourced. Not overpriced.
The owners were so nice and friendly and even drove round a tractor offering all the kids free ice cream.
100% we'll be staying again.

喜欢: Not over crowded,hosts were available at all times,shop was good and well priced

不喜欢: Shower cubicles could do with being bigger struggled to shower kids with 2 of us being in there,maybe more toilets,and something for children to do only one goal to play in.couldn’t get the dog stakes in ground to hold dog so litterally had to hold dog all wk end

As to the dog stake, we could have helped you with this, we have an array of hammers and mallets if you had asked us we would have gladly helped you.
Holding your dog all weekend must have been a nightmare.

喜欢: Good location for access to Ironbridge, on site food shop, clean toilet block, friendly staff.

不喜欢: Only 2 female/male showers for the whole site, pitches didn’t feel particularly private.

We are aware the showers are small, and as we have previously said in past review comments, there was only one shower each when we took over Teds two seasons ago.
and have managed to refurb the shower block to get two showers in.
Hopefully we will be able to expand on this in the future.

喜欢: Everything. The peace and quiet, location, close enough that you didn’t feel isolated, but rural enough to feel away from it all. Slight slope at the top but this didn’t detract from the stay. I stayed with my Dog and he enjoyed the area. Loads of well marked walks easily accessible direct from the site only 20min to the Wrekin. Toilets were spotless, showers were hot. If you are looking for loads of facilities eg a club, it’s not the place, sadly for reasons beyond the owners control the shop was not open, but it didn’t detract from our fabulous stay. We’ll be back, with my wife for hopefully a longer stay. It was totally relaxing.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and found some of the great walks that are around the area.
We now have a full time warden, Erica, who will be in the site shop every morning from 8.30am and will be on hand for anything you need from the shop, with all fresh produce arriving in time for the weekends.

喜欢: Nice clean site, boundaries of pitches were well marked out which made it nice and clear for all but especially the children. Nice big pitches. Facilities were very clean and maintained regularly. Staff were really lovely.

不喜欢: It is stated so we knew about it, but the field is sloped. Teds farm do state on their leaflet when arriving their quiet time is from 10pm-8am but we found the site quite noisy well towards midnight. The facilities block is very clean but the shower cubicles are a tight squeeze!!

We do do regular checks after 10pm and after checking at 11.15 pm the site seemed to be quiet.
I do apologise if there was something we missed.

喜欢: Although we were fully serviced, our hose was too short, Steve kindly made an extension hose up for us. Nothing was too much trouble, a lovely couple. Thankyou Ted's Farm.
