Barnstones Caravan Site

This area is particularly well supplied with grand country estates – Blenheim Palace (40 minutes’ drive) is probably the most famous, but other local spots like Broughton Castle (15 minutes) and Sulgrave Manor (20 minutes) are also well worth visiting. They’ve all got lovely grounds and gardens to explore too, but if you’d rather focus on the horticulture you may like to consider Thenford Gardens & Arboretum (15 minutes). Touring the Cotswolds National Landscape might take you to pretty towns and villages like Stow-on-the-Wold (45 minutes), Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford (both 50 minutes) or to attractions like the Rollright Stones (half an hour) or Diddly Squat Farm Shop (40 minutes). Tours at Hook Norton Brewery (25 minutes) or the Cotswolds Distillery Visitor Centre (half an hour) might also be on the cards. For other days out, try the British Motor Museum (20 minutes), the outlet shops of Bicester Village (half an hour), speedy races at Silverstone Circuit (half an hour) or the gorgeous colleges and museums of Oxford (45 minutes).
