喜欢 Beautiful very well kept site . Very clean and the toilet and showers should win awards alone for how clean and modern they are and they even have a family shower room . And dog shower 😛
.Very friendly staff and our grandchildren were able to spend the day as visitors with us with no rush to be off site . Shop on site selling essentials . Plenty of water /waste areas . Play park for children and the pub is a few minutes walk away where we had their beef brisket baguette and was amazing although a slightly pricier pub than we expected it to be .
Lovely colourful flowers in baskets and the pitches were very spacious and well maintained. Can’t wait to go back soon ❤️well done to the owners it’s a little gem

喜欢 Friendly welcome, choice of pitch, good toilet/shower facilities. Lovely local walks direct from the site. Good location for accessing the Peak District.

不喜欢 Shop hours were erratic - possibly the time of year we visited. Although it did not cause us any problems, and a mobile number was available.

喜欢 It was very clean showers and toilets were very well maintained.

不喜欢 Think there should be some rubbish bins place around the campsite and the electric could be near to the pitches and not right up the other end of the camp site on some of the pitchs…

来自经理: Thank you kindly for your review - however I would like to clarify a couple of points if I may:

1. We have quite a number of smaller rubbish bins around the site, which are emptied through out the day, but the main large ones are kept near to the toilets. This is to make sure there are no bad odours or vermin near any of the tourers or tents.
2. We have a dedicated electric point for each tourer and tent on their plot.

喜欢 Stopped on this site during the August bank Holiday weekend. Despite the site being very busy, it was spotlessly clean. It was busy during the day with children playing and families doing different things but was very quiet at night, so much so, you could hear the wildlife. The toilet facilities are brilliant. Went for a shower and was impressed to discover that the showers were actually your own private wet room, with loo, sink and shower, again, all spotless. Didn't have much contact with the staff but those we did speak to were very pleasant and helpful. Nice pub at end of the lane and Hardwick Hall is a nice walk away. Lots of countryside to explore.

不喜欢 The pitch was a little smaller than we would normally prefer, but as already stated, the site was full, so it probably felt tight for that reason.

喜欢 This is a friendly, high quality site. Pitches are fairly level. The showers are in the form of a wet room and very practical.
Everything is kept exceptionally clean and tidy.
If you have children there is a good playground.

喜欢 We loved it here. had a lovely relaxed weekend with my partner and our 2 children. Nice park for the kids. Little shop on site with a few bits and bobs. 2 minutes walk to a pub on corner we only had a drink in there but food looked nice. The best thing was the toilets and showers. They were immaculate, and I have OCD. The best ive seen on any canpsite ive been too. These are very spacious nice and warm blasting showers. Was perfect weather too just to top it off for us. Will definitely be back again.

不喜欢 Would love to beable to have a camp fire. That's one part I enjoy most at night canping is a little camp fire. But site doesnt allow. Other than that nothing we enjoyed it.

喜欢 Excellent site ...clean shower. lovely shop for all your needs. Made to feel very welcome...Across the road is excellent dog walking facilities....showers excellent and very good with the family shower rooms.....Will be back..never used sites wifi as had own but was available.

不喜欢 Sat nav directions but was told prior to travelling not to follow them when coming from the north
