Sherwood Pines Campsite

喜欢: Loveley site , shower blocks were clean and maintained , the park was good for the children , and the amenities were very good , beautifull location , lots of walks and stunning views

不喜欢: The only dislike is that our van was under trees which made it very dark inside the van and we didn’t catch any sunshine , but I suppose you can pick your own plot

喜欢: Really enjoyed our stay right from when we arrived til we left. Customer service on arrival was excellent, explained all that we needed to know and where everything was on the site. We stayed in a pod, the pod was very clean and very thoughtfully set out, we had everything we needed plus the little extra bits were nice like camp chairs, tea/coffee & washing up pack. Own water supply at the back of the pod. The pods are. excellent value for money. The toilet block, showers & pot wash areas were exceptionally clean and never to busy plus the doggy wash was great, nice space inside a secure room, especially handy after a lovely long walk in the forest. There are walks right on the doorstep, very well sign posted & very enjoyable. Nice coffee machine in the shop and local take aways that will deliver direct to site. All in all a very relaxing time & will be definitely be visiting again.

不喜欢: The play park is right next to the toilet block and the children were using the nice smooth flat surface around the block as a race track, even though there were signs not too, had a couple of close calls....but to be fair I would of probably of done the same when I was young giving how fun it looked !!!

喜欢: Good pitch size (fully serviced) clean, today good facilities, friendly staff. Love the dog wash and that’s it’s 10 minutes walk to go ape!

喜欢: The facilities, the pod was amazing super warm and cosy and really good value for money. It was also really great to have loads of walks and activities near by. The staff were friendly and helpful. We even got a wage goodbye 🥰 So refreshing to not have to get in the car to take the kids anywhere. Really loved our stay. Thank you.

喜欢: Great open spaces, plenty of walking from site within sherwood forest, and lots of things to see and do within a short drive of the site. pizza van on site of Friday evenings was a nice touch. Dog wash free to use after a walk in the woods. and a v-good laundry room. Lovely and quiet during the week. Most of the staff were very friendly & welcoming.

不喜欢: Was a little noisy at the weekend, but quietened down late evening. Found a couple of staff did not show good customer service, looking at the ground when walking past so you don't have to acknowledge the person you are walking past or not giving eye contact or speaking to the person you are serving in a shop is just rude. (was only 2 members of staff, but happened a few times with the same staff. could do with some customer service training)
