There are several reasons why Pear Tree Cottage at Poplar Farm place is so well-liked by its guests: proximity to the sea, wow-inducing views of the Lincolnshire Wolds and easy access to heaps of footpaths and bridleways that crisscross the local area and coastline. Hidden away down a private country lane and set in a level and well-maintained two-acre field, this smashing little hidey hole lies among peaceful coastal countryside and is a short drive away from several beaches and resorts along the Lincolnshire coast, including Mablethorpe, Ingoldmells and Skegness, with the nearest – Huttoft – an easy mile away. For stuff to do nearby, a spectacular seafront golf course lies around two miles away, and if you’re of the horsey persuasion, this is a good spot to base yourself for hacks along the sand and coastal bridleways, as Lincolnshire County Council permits riding on all of its beaches. The Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a short drive away too for long hikes and bike rides. When you return to Poplar Farm after a long day of seeing and doing along this area’s stunning coastline, swing by Alford, around 15 minutes’ drive away, to pick up a few bits to throw on a barbecue back at base, or give yourself a break and stick around to dine out at one of several restaurants there. Among the amenities at the site are a bathroom block with toilets and showers, and a laundry room with a tourist information area.

喜欢: We wanted peace and quiet and this place was all we asked for. Dave and Chris are lovely people and there site is beautiful, everything we needed to hand, facilities where modern, only a small site so one shower with a toilet and sink and another separate toilet with sink. Dog walking was up and down the private driveway which was fine for our little old boy. We will definitely be back.

喜欢: We had a fantastic weekend camping at pear tree cottage camp site Dave & Chris very friendly and helpful . showers and toilet facilities very clean and checked throughout the day lovely relaxing, peaceful and well maintained camp site plenty of walks close by enjoyed every minute.

喜欢: What a fantastic little site, only 5 pitches (hardstanding with electric, included in the price), with an area for tents in another field. Plenty of room between the pitches, so you don't feel cramped or overlooked.
The toilet and shower block, was very clean and tidy with plenty of room to move around in.
The site is clean and tidy and very well maintained.

不喜欢: My only complaint would be that the pitches are not fully serviced, but that's me being very lazy... ;-)

喜欢: The site is meticulously tended, Dave greeted us and helped us onto our pitch. Pitch was dead level, toilets were spotless, although only one unisex shower and two unisex toilets, which could be a problem in a busy period.Having said that, we enjoyed our stay immensely.

喜欢: Our first weekend away of the year and what a lovely site! Immaculately laid out, all pitches level and plenty of space between the pitches. We were spoilt even more as we were the only ones on site for the weekend. Our two Labradors loved it too.
Toilet and shower room spotlessly clean.
Owners were friendly and helpful. To top it off the weather was great too.
We didn’t use the WiFi so can’t comment on it.

喜欢: Very friendly hosts and happy to help and tell you about the area. The site is small but with nice outlook and very peaceful. Facilities are great and very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Explore miles upon miles of quiet sandy beaches, bring your binoculars for birdwatching or just laze and gaze adoringly up at the wide open skies above. Be sure to bring your buckets and spades, because this is a splendid spot for a family beach break, with both Sutton on Sea and Huttoft beaches nearby for cheerful beachfront huts, plus Mablethorpe, Ingoldmells and Skegness all within an easy half an hour’s drive away. For animal-themed days out with the kids, take them to the donkey sanctuary in Huttoft, Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary or Skegness Aquarium.
