Set up back in 2016 on open farmland just on the outskirts of Lincolnshire seaside capital Skegness: if you want busy and seaside town days along with days among green Lincolnshire countryside, petite and clean Skegness Fields is a well-placed pick. Pitches are hardstanding ones for tourers and motorhomes, and come with electric hook-up and a water point. The smart facilities include a swish shower and toilet block, washing-up area and chemical disposal. As it's a family-friendly site, Skegness Fields has plenty of room for kids to roam and grownups to relax; it's a safely-kept site too, with a fully secure barrier entry system. The sands of Skegness are a couple of minutes' drive, a leisurely stroll or a quick bus ride away.

喜欢: Lovely level pitches that were very spacious, clean and modern toilet block. Super friendly reception staff. Nothing too much trouble. The little shop stocked with all essentials at a reasonable price. Well kept site ideal for all ages.

不喜欢: Road noise but got used to it.

喜欢: Site was clean, staff were nice and friendly

不喜欢: The showers were filthy, freezing cold, no pressure in the water and the water was just warm. We stayed on hard standing gravel pitch. It was harder than any we've stayed on before and was bending all the pegs.

喜欢: Site was spotless, very friendly staff on reception, large level pitches

不喜欢: Being so near to a main road the traffic was a bit noisy at times. Shower block could have been a bit warmer but the weather was especially chilly the weekend we stayed.

喜欢: It was friendly, shower blocks and the general site was clean

不喜欢: Shower block was cold, bin area very dirty and messy, no recycling and laundry hours very short, which made difficult to use

喜欢: Shower and toilet block excellent, very modern , spacious and spotless. Very impressed to be honest, exceptionally friendly staff on reception, pitches had lots of space in between them . We were quite close to toilet block and bins and thought it would get quite noisy but it was quiet and we had a great relaxing weekend with our two little pooches and another couple .

当地景点

Wander, take the car, or get the bus that stops just across the road from Skegness Fields to seaside town Skegness for days of coast and sand. The beach, sea and pier will likely be many folks' first stops (probably followed by a bag of hot fish and chips or an ice cream on the sands), but do take time too to get to the town's other top attractions, like the Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the fab and wild Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve just outside the centre. From Skegness, travel along the coast to Ingoldmells for a knuckle-tightening time at Fantasy Island, the mammoth amusement park with the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster and Europe’s longest looping rollercoaster. (A mammoth indoor market is also in town to totter to if you need to soothe yourself afterwards.) Other options around the sea and Lincolnshire are trips further along the coast to Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe and on to Saltfleet, and inland to the walks and bike rides of the flat Wolds, or staggering under the weight of piles of newly purchased produce at Lincolnshire's market towns like Louth, Alford and Horncastle.
