Little Owls Caravan and Camping

喜欢: Nice place, forest view, pond right by the pitch, peaceful, newly built toilet and shower block which is kept very clean. Early in the season, so we were able to have non-electric pitch all to our selfs

不喜欢: Paid 10 pounds for an extra car, which we were not allowed to have by the pitch. It would be fine if it were busy, but during our stay, we were the only ones on the non-electric grass pitch.
Newly built toilet block, but still using 2 taps, 1 boiling hot enough for tea, the other freezing. It's 2025 about time to start using mixer taps.

喜欢: One of the toilet blocks is great and well maintained, showers were nice. Big open field with plenty of spaces.

不喜欢: The field is very bumpy in places so you have to be careful where you pitch up. The second toilet block didn’t seem to be cleaned at all during our 3 night stay and there were no hand towels or hot water in this block. Not so much an issue as the other block was nice, just further to walk. The biggest issue, hence the 3 stars, was unfortunately for the campsite, there’s a kennels or something down the road and the dogs can be heard barking through the night, even through earplugs.

We are sorry that you found the field bumpy in places; after all it is a camping field and we have had no other comments about this.

喜欢: Lovely quiet site, with fishing pond.

喜欢: The space, the location and the shower blocks were wonderful after a long bike ride.

不喜欢: You can hear in the distance dogs barking, i think there is a boarding kennels nearby.

喜欢: Nothing bad at all to say, the welcome was marvellous, advised on arrival to take any available pitch.
On the tent pitch area is an older container with toilets and shower area. If you want to be spoilt visit the new absolutely spotless toilet, shower and washing up area next to the sited touring caravans. Hot water every time. If you like to fish there is a well stocked pond on site. We just wanted to sit & relax and we certainly got that. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jonathan & his mum for making a great stay.

喜欢: Clean toilets and showers, friendly owner, paying for what electric you use

不喜欢: Dogs barking in the night nothing the owner can do about that seems like a kennel not far away

喜欢: Lovely site with very clean facilities.

不喜欢: Unfortunately there is a dog kennel of some sort within hearing distance. Not load but could be annoying if peace and quiet is what your after.
