This is what every other site we visit needs to match up against from now on.

Views of the touring pitches on the site

Rural roams are firmly on the agenda at Hanworth Country Park, a serene site dotted with pretty paths and six lakes around 15 minutes’ drive from Lincoln. And angling’s on the cards too – four of the bodies of water here, stocked with mirror carp, common carp, chub, barbel, ide, perch, roach and tench, are open for fishing. There’s also a café-bar to order takeaway food and drink (with a handful of tables if you fancy eating in). Travelling with the tiddlers? Let them roam free in the play area. Animals are also often seen scampering around the park, especially around the lakes and woodland: think buzzards, red kites, woodpeckers and kestrels, as well as brown hares, squirrels, hedgehogs and deer. Attempt to catch a glimpse of these critters while roving along routes through the country park, either on foot or by bike; a favourite trails is the famed Lincolnshire Spires and Steeples path, which runs through the park and ends up at Lincoln Cathedral. Closer by is the village of Potterhanworth (10 minutes’ walk), a peaceful place with a handful of amenities including a large playing field with a play park, a skateboard park and tennis courts. A pub’s in the centre of the village – handy for evening drinks – and there’s a bus stop plying the Lincoln to Sleaford and Lincoln to Boston routes for explores via public transport. Surrounding villages such as Metheringham, Branston, Heighington and Washingborough are all within five miles and have conveniences like food shops, inn, takeaways, cafés, butchers and post offices.

喜欢: Serene location, private and peaceful. We had read some poor reviews prior to our visit and we couldn’t disagree more. An absolutely beautiful location. We stayed for three night. Arriving Friday afternoon and departed Monday morning. We were greeted by friendly staff when checking in that were helpful and couldn’t do more for us. We stayed in Pod 1. Which we found cosy and in a really good spot. We spent our days walking the dog around the sight and fishing at the many different fishing lakes. We visited the bar each night for a drink or two to be welcomed by the friendly staff in the bar and restaurant. We were really grateful for how dog friendly the place is, with water bowls scattered around the part and on the veranda of the bar shelving that included access to blankets, water and doggy treats. This was a great touch. The toilet/shower blocks were a stone throw from the pod along with the washing up and water facilities. All of which were cleaned regularly, and everything was spotless and uncleanliness was never an issue! We really really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return before the end of season!

不喜欢: At a push, and this would be quite literally looking for fault. We would’ve liked a bigger fridge. We’d read reviews of a noisy train line - this is not an issue at all. Perhaps one or two trains passing a day and the noise is minimum. Was not an issue so I wouldn’t let this put you off!! Couldn’t comment for children friendliness and WiFi because we didn’t have children and I didn’t know there was WiFi!

喜欢: Lovely clean tranquil site. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Fishing is superb. Shower blocks are spotless. Staff are very welcoming. Paddle boarding. Playground. Bar, restaurant area.

不喜欢: I feel the note about the railway line should be at the beginning of the sites description. First night was quiet throughout the night, However the second night the trains ran constantly which led to a very poor nights sleep.

营地将在您到店前7天向您发送更详细的入住信息。

安全

严禁明火。
建议住客自行携带高质量手电筒，因为部分营地区域没有照明。
禁止在湖里游泳。
禁止携带枪支。

狗

导盲犬可入内，不收取费用。
必须给狗系牵引绳并随时看管。
营地不允许携带《危险犬类法》中所列的犬类/杂交种。

税费

此区域不收取城市税。

访客

访客必须在00:00前离开露营场所。

车辆

装置长度不允许超过9米。
露营单元旁仅可停放一辆汽车。其余车辆必须停放在指定区域。

通用条款

Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your unit/pitch. 只有在营地能够成功转租您预订的装置/单元时，方可于所示取消期内退款。
