Aubourn Estate

喜欢: I understand that I was the first person to stay on this site - and at first I struggled to find it due to the lack of other tents. Sat nav took me rather out of the way, using the address given, and I eventually found it using What 3 Words, and seeking confirmation from locasl. Anyhow, once there I found myself alone in a large field for the night, in my tiny tent, and it was good. The estate have provided a tap for drinking water, portaloo, chem waste disposal and bin on one side of the site. On an adjacent side there's a picnic bench and fire pit made of bricks. There's a pub 5 minutes' walk away where I had a decent meal and some decent beer. Other pubs are available in Bassingham, about a 40 minute walk away, should you fancy the stroll. It's a little hard to give a detailed review of a site that's so new and had nobody else on it, but I'm sure it will prove popular. It's very convenient for the Newark Showground, Lincoln, etc, and being adults only, should hopefully remain quite chilled out.
