Once you’re all pitched up, you can head straight in for a pint or a wine – this park is rather handily tagged onto a cosy pub. The Hunters Inn, on the edge of Longdon village, is a handy four miles from the historic town of Tewkesbury around half an hour’s drive from Cheltenham, and also within easy reach of several of the area’s most famed historic attractions, including Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucester Cathedral and Hartlebury Castle. The Malvern Hills are also a cinch to get to for walks and big bike rides, and the water meadow at Severn Ham, just outside Tewkesbury, is smashing for a bit of wildlife spotting and birdwatching. When you’re done with days of Worcestershire sightseeing, return back to base for a barbecue. However, if you’d rather have someone else do the cooking, then the pub serves some pretty great locally sourced food instead. There’s a nice sprinkling of entertainment here too: if you’re there for the pub’s monthly quiz, you can exercise some brain cells for a crack at winning the Hunters’ pub quiz crown.

不喜欢 Shower/toilet block very basic and needs a good clean. They are building new ones so hopefully they'll look after them when finished.

喜欢 The site was very well maintained and the services were all too hand. The evening meal we ate on the Saturday was fabulous and the staff couldn't have done anymore to make us feel welcome and at home and that also included our dog 👏👏Thank you will look forward to visiting again in the summer months.

喜欢 Pub. Very friendly staff. Food was obviously great as every table for the carvery was full. The beer was good.

不喜欢 Campsite facilities were severely lacking. Toilet block is an old wooden porta-cabin that feels like the floor could cave in at any moment. The facilities area looks like a bit of a dumping ground with cordoned off areas and IBC'S.

喜欢 We really enjoyed out Christmas camper stay at the hunters, we had a couple of Christmas drinks in the pub the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, before heading back to enjoy our Christmas dinner

不喜欢 Some of the pitches are tricky to get into with a longer vehicle, without going on the grass, which we were trying to avoid during to the bad weather.

喜欢 Staff were great, food was definitely better than what I was expecting, based on the photos making the place look outdated. Menu was a good modern menu and reasonably priced.
I had a great laugh with other visitors to the site.

喜欢 Lovely place the guys in the restaurant/pub we're really good, old and young work great together. The chicken curry was great really hard to beat and I've had some all over the world. The locked gate and pitches were great and for a stop off north or south couldn't ask for a nicer quite stop.

不喜欢 Not sure dislike as such but can't wait for new shower/toilets to be opened as old ones tired but clean and the pitches could be lighten with solar lights or something especially when arriving late in winter but these i think are in hand!

Elsewhere, this top Worcestershire spot is a most handy locale for outdoorsy and active adventures: there’s a golf course in Tewkesbury and several horse riding schools are in the area too, plus walking and cycling are popular around the Malvern Hills National Landscape, a short drive away. Severn Ham is also a splendid place for a walk and a bit of wildlife watching: be sure to take a pair of binoculars or even just your camera phone, because you’ll likely want to snap all the critters and birdlife you’ll find around this wild water meadow.
