Abbey Home Farm

喜欢 Abbey Home Farm is everything I want out of a camp site. It truly takes you back to basics. The site is also incredibly clean, completely secure with a gated entrance that only guests have the code for. As an added bonus, 5 minutes walk away is the Farm Shop where you can purchase fresh meat from the animals feared on site, fruit and veg, and a wide selection of packetless refil options for cereal, seeds, nuts, and more. We didn't try the cafe but it looked delightful. I will absolutely be staying here again.

不喜欢 The only elements I would want to warn people of is the A429 being so close you hear a lot of traffic (especially if the ground is wet) and the fact that the area as a whole is on a domestic flight path (we didn't mind this as the whole point of our stay was to go to the air show but it may be something others would wish to consider. It's not just Abbey Home Farm affected by this, it is the whole area)

不喜欢 Would have preferred having an option to make yurt completely dark as it had a window in the roof meant it was very light for children who went to bed earlier than usual.

喜欢 Rural location peaceful, friendly staff, basic organic, sustainable, woodland walk, lovely views

不喜欢 Very hard ground for tent pitch, facilities v basic, not for everyone

喜欢 Liked the farm shop, and the view, and that we were one of 4 tents only, very close to Cirencester town, so cheap!

不喜欢 Toilet/shower situation, no hot water in showers, bbq’s not allowed because of how dry grass was although can’t be helped :(

喜欢 Love this place! So idyllic and so much to explore. We hired ebikes from Cotswold ebikes and Darren gave us a fantastic route to follow, it was the highlight of our trip!
The farm shop and cafe is wonderful and the food is amazing!
I would love try the hut by the pond next time, it looks so dreamy.

喜欢 Beautiful setting with great amenities. A hot shower in the woodland was a really nice treat and having the farm shop on site to stock up on food for the bbq was amazing. We received a really warm welcome and managed to fit 2 of the suggested walks into our 1 night stay. Hope to be back soon!

喜欢 Lovely farm shop near by with a big variety. Eco friendly site with compost loos.

不喜欢 Small thing but I didn’t like having to check in at somewhere not on the camp site .
The camper van area was much smaller than expected and is boxed in with tall hedges so no views. Vans were quite squashed in . In contrast, the tent field looked beautiful and spacious so if visiting with a tent I would recommend.

来自经理: Hi, we were just saying whilst checking the site last night how this weekend all vans parked up the same hedge, leaving the same space again down the other hedge totally empty (bar one van). It was very odd but totally understand why it must have felt squashed. At check in we do tell all guests to park either side. Apologies they all clumped together this time. Best wishes, AHF

喜欢 The peace and quiet, outdoor shower with lovely hot water, level ground, easy check-in with clear instructions, secure camp site, no dogs due to the live stock on farm and the bread at the farm shop.
