Good facilities
不喜欢 Rules make you feel like you are the problem. Most people I know who visit sites stick to the rules without the need for sarcastic notices treating everyone like crazy teenagers. A quote from one of our fellow campers summed it up " In France the notices tell you everything you can do, This site tells you everything you can't do. "

喜欢 This is a lovely quiet campsite. Owner very welcoming - we were able to choose our pitch. Facilities were clean. Pub within five minute walk and nice little village 20 mins walk away with cafe, general store pub and chip shop.
Great views and lots of walks/footpaths from the campsite.

喜欢 Lovely little site with laid back and helpful owners. Very easy to locate too.
The facilities are basic rather than fancy or aesthetic but they are clean, functional and well stocked.
The pitches are a good size so you don't feel like you are on your neighbours lap - some pitches are on a bit of a slope so I would definitely recommend levelling ramps if you are in a camper.
不喜欢 Aircraft and late night tractor noise.
We received an apology the morning after about the aircrafts and assurance that this was not usual. We were only there one night though so can't comment further. It would not stop us returning :)

喜欢 The location was stunning and so peaceful. Everything was as described. Pub is literally a five minute walk along the lane and there’s a regular bus service that stops right outside as well. Longnor is a 15 minute walk with a lovely pub and well stocked village shop.
不喜欢 The very steep and windy road down to the village. Thankfully I didn’t have to attempt to drive up the same road when I left 😂
